Digital Marketing Analysis
What digital marketing approaches might be appropriate to reach
the targeted customers?
Digital marketing is important because it can give your company the
competitive edge in an even more competitive market. It can assist your firm
in standing out and being noticed. Digital marketing can be cost effective,
flexible, and can increase company and customer engagement. Because
MSH Brands will be targeting millennials, digital marketing would be an
effective way of marketing. Millennials are tech-savvy so, search engine
marketing (SEM), display ads, and social media advertising (Cho & Hu, 2009).
Millennials use a great deal of technology and spend a substantial amount of
time on the internet (Cho & Hu, 2009). Strategically placing ads on internet
sites, public media forums, and SEMs can increase recognizability of the
company’s brand.
What digital marketing approaches are likely to be least effective?
Spam marketing/mail is one the least effective digital marketing strategies
(Zinkhan, 2004). Consumers get hundreds of spam emails or advertisement
which is difficult and time consuming to filter through it. Most time, all spam
mail or digital marketing is deleted and never viewed (Zinkhan, 2004). Spam
mail can be antagonizing tactics in advertising. Most times people won’t buy,
and they even tell their friends not to buy things advertised through spam
advertising.
