2. Equation: y=9.280608-0.002428 Solution one (known): 0.025 = 9.280608 − 0.002428 = 2.9 × 10
−3
Solution two (known): 0.129 = 9.280608 − 0.002428 = 1.4 × 10
−2
Solution three (known): 0.232 = 9.280608 − 0.002428 = 2.5 × 10
−2
Solution four (known): 0.471 = 9.280608 − 0.002428 = 5.1 × 10
−2
Solution five (known): 0.457 = 9.280608 − 0.002428 = 4.9 × 10
−2
Solution six (unknown): 0.052 = 9.280608 − 0.002428 = 5.8 × 10

Post-Lab Questions 1. The actual concentration of the known is 2.9072 x 10^-3 which my solution one gets spot on give or take a few small numbers; the accuracy however started to go down as more solution was used. My calculated concentration of the know varied depending on the amount of solution diluted by DI water. My calculation for the unknown ended up being 5.8 x 10^-3. 2. I used the concentration from my first solution for this because it was the most accurate and well done one. 2.95541 × 10
−3
− 2.9072 × 10
−3
÷ 2.9072 × 10
−3
= 0.16 × 100 = 16%
3. Based on the percent above the accuracy of my assay is close to the actual one 4. Based on my response my concentration of my unknown should be fairly accurate. However, I will say that using almost all my other concentrations this would not be the case, so overall I would not trust my accuracy based on all my data above.
