PROMPT:
Minimum of 150-words. Your post must incorporate college-level
writing in paragraph form. Simply listing the answers (i.e., in bullet form,
etc.) will result in no points awarded for the initial post.
You are a new graduate and recently landed your first coding position. You
will be employed by a pathologist to code for their professional services. You
vaguely remember learning laboratory and pathology coding in college but
you aren't sure that you recall enough to confidently perform these coding
duties. Identify at least three things that you might do to help you prepare
for assigning CPT codes in this position.
ANSWER;
If I were to be given an employment opportunity by a pathologist to code for
professional services and couldn't recall enough to confidently perform my
duties there would be a few steps I would take to brush up. The first thing I
would do is refer to the coding guidelines for pathology and laboratory
services. I would also need to readdress and brush up on the modifiers.
Another step I would take to ensure that I am ready is to find coaching videos
online and/or reach out to my network of coding professionals for advice.
Understanding and having a specific coding position will narrow down what I
need to retain for the position.
According to the textbook, The coding guidelines for pathology state that
services for pathology and laboratory are provided by a physician or by
technologists under the responsible supervision of a physician. Separate or
multiple procedures are appropriate to designate on the same date by
separate entries. The guidelines also give a list of unlisted services and
procedures with the accompanying codes. Under the special report, it states
that a service that is rarely provided, unusual, variable, or new may require a
special report. Information should include an adequate definition or
description of the nature, extent, and need for the procedure; and the time,
effort, and equipment necessary to provide the service (Smith et al., 2021).
Modifiers are used as descriptions of services. Some examples of pathology
modifiers would be Increased procedural services, reduced services,
discontinued procedures, or distinct procedural services. There are also
modifiers for laboratory services. These modifiers are used to describe how,
when, and where testing and results are provided. According to 24/7 Medical,
a few examples would be modifier 92, alternative laboratory platform testing,
and modifier 91, repeat clinical diagnostic laboratory test. Modifiers in
Pathology are equally important. TC and -26 are modifiers to identify whether
a component is technical or professional. Modifiers -24 or -79 are used to
describe if a patient's visit was surgery or E/M visits during the postoperative
period (24/7 Medical Billing Services, 2023).
Last but not least, utilizing a professional network and videos are supportive
as well. When going through college we develop a network of professionals
that may include our instructors, program directors, or colleagues from
internships. These individuals are great resources and are usually eager to
help. They have the experience and knowledge to give you guidance. We
also learned in college that videos are a great tool for learning and
understanding procedures and techniques used. No matter what, there are
always resources to be utilized.

Problem Description (CCOs #1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 11, 12)
A water tank of radius R = 1.8m with two outlet pipes of radius r₁ = 0.05m and r2 installed at heights h₁ = 0.13m
and h₂ = 1m, is mounted in an elevator moving up and down causing a time dependent acceleration g(t) that must be
modeled as
g(t) = go+a1 cos(2π f₁t) + b₁ sin(2π f₁t) + a2 cos(2π f₂t) + b₂ sin(2π f₂t),

You are an engineer working on a project and your prototype has failed prematurely. You question whether or not a key component of the prototype was manufactured with the correct material. There are two way to check for the material properties. The first way is to have a material certification done to confirm the exact material composition. This will take some time. The second method to confirm the material properties is to make an ASTM test sample and test for the material properties. This tensile test was completed on a test sample with an initial diameter of .501” and an initial length of 2”. The Load-Deflection data for this tensile test is below. Use this data to answer the first set of questions on the Final Exam in eLearning. A. Determine the Ultimate Tensile Strength B. Determine the 0.2% Offset Yield Strength C. Determine the value of the Proportional Limit D. Determine the Modulus of Elasticity E. Determine the Strain at Yield F. Calculate %…

This is an engineering problem and not a writing assignment. Please Do Not Reject. I had other engineering tutors on bartleby help me with problems similar to this one.
This problem must be presented in a logical order showing the necessary steps used to arrive at an answer. Each homework problem should have the following items unless otherwise stated in the problem:
a. Known: State briefly what is known about the problem.
b. Schematic: Draw a schematic of the physical system or control volume.
c. Assumptions: List all necessary assumptions used to complete the problem.
d. Properties: Identify the source of property values not given to you in the problem. Most sources will be from a table in the textbook (i.e. Table A-4).
e. Find: State what must be found.
f. Analysis: Start your analysis with any necessary equations. Develop your analysis as completely as possible before inserting values and performing the calculations. Draw a box around your answers and include units and follow an…
