Aaliyah Ashley. 1/20/24 Weekly Case Study 2 The moral dilemma is the conflicting beliefs about the safety of the workers. The inspector puts violation tags on the faulty construction equipment because he does not want any of the workers to get injured on the job. The construction manager orders the tags to be removed because he does not want the project to be delayed. The construction manager did not believe that what was wrong with the equipment was serious enough for violation tags. Factual inquiries would be the severity of the faulty construction equipment, the safety regulations that are being violated, what could occur from using the faulty equipment, and the project's impact if it was delayed. Two options for solving this dilemma are for the inspector to insist on keeping the tags on the equipment and following the safety regulations. The inspector and manager look at the issue to figure out how severe it is. The safety of the workers is obligatory, especially if the equipment could cause serious injuries. The most important part is balancing the safety concerns and the project's needs. The moral part is putting the safety of the workers as a top priority.
