Assessor Guideline
The Assessment Benchmark developed for each unit of competency is the evidence criteria used to judge the quality of
performance (i.e. the assessment decision-making rules). Assessors must use these benchmarks to make judgement on
whether competency has been achieved and to determine if the participant has performed to the standard expected to
meet unit requirement and learning outcomes. Assessment Results
To achieve “Satisfactory” level for this exam you will need to score a level of 80% or better.
Overall you are required to be assessed as ‘Satisfactory’ on completion of Assessments as assigned by your assessor/s for
this unit of competency. You need to achieve a satisfactory for all components to progress.
S
= Satisfactory
NS = Not Satisfactory
Students who fail to achieve the required result will be deemed ‘not satisfactory” and are entitled to ONE second attempt.
Re-assessment
Any re-assessment will be conducted as soon as practicable after you have been informed of the requirement to be re-
assessed and have been given the opportunity to be re-trained in the unit. Students that are assessed “satisfactory” after
re-assessment of areas deemed NS will achieve competency for this assignment.
This summative assessment will be conducted in the classroom environment under Test conditions as
follows:
Under supervision by your Assessor
Your Assessor will assist with clarification on Test questions without giving any reference to the answers
You are to answer all of the questions.
No
mobile phones or electronic devices will be permitted during assessment.
Papers must have the student’s name and date
on the front page
Resource Developers to provide a guideline timeframe as follows:
Type of Test: Closed Book
Assessment max Time: 2 hrs
I acknowledge the assessment process has been explained and agree to undertake assessment. I declare that the work contained in this assessment is my own. I understand that a person found responsible for academic misconduct will be subject to disciplinary action
