Critical Thinking
1.
Several fast-food chains, after their success with offering their
customers fresh salads, and downplaying the image of selling
unhealthy food, began adding fresh fruit plates to their menus. At
about the same time and in direct conflict with this healthy
strategy several other fast-food chains began offering fat and
calorie-laden items to their menus. Compare these two widely
different approaches and predict the chances of each one’s
success. Name some other products that are popular, despite
known health risks.
Today, people are more about their health. Today we are more
absorbed in what we eat. The Case demand strategy looks at the
food environment and the right choices hopefully to benefit
consumers. The transportation for aggregate planning of the role of
water in health sources for minerals of the safety of Globel nutrition
watch. Master scheduling for building a better menu for customers
with protein vitamin C, A, and calcium is good for children and older
people.
Management adds capacity to repeat customer loyalty. Inventory
management should keep stock with high-safety products for fast
food chains. Wendy's menu just levels up with the Parmesan Caesar
salads yummy. Healthy eating menu with calorie-laden like having
low fat, iron-rich cut of meat which is perfect for a toned body. The
fruit plates at Denny's and Hash House have strawberries with
banana dishes. In my opinion, Restaurants are more healthy than
fast food chains. Data shows the ingredients that have the critical
quality of health information that other systems lack the processes
to produce meaningful information created by competitive
advantage.
The inventory of high-risk is caffeine, the primary reports show
staying away from having too much caffeine. Restaurants have on
their menu dishes with caffeine like desserts. The drinks have double
as much caffeine as energy drinks. Salads with natural leaves, seeds,
and fruit have caffeine. The ERP software works all the department
performances starting with production, inventory, purchasing
marketing, and supply chain with healthy risk for consumers. All
businesses need to do strategies for uneven demand of healthy or
healthy risk for supply of demand.

In wintry conditions, highway safety is improved by treating road
surfaces with substances that will provide traction and or melt
snow and ice. Sand and rock salt are two widely used substances.
Recently, a combination of beet juice and rock salt is being used in
some parts of the country to treat road surfaces. Suppose you
have asked to provide a list of factors to consider for a switch from
the rock salt decision in the following categories: cost
consideration, environmental considerations, both positive and
negative and other considerations.
Mountain Charleston is now in the winter, sometime all year around.
The evolution of the rock’s climate and structure melt snow and ice.
The highway or streets need to be safe. The use of operations
strategy, ROP models involve service level and safety stock
considerations of road maps of ice. The dependent demand of
security of vehicles to treat roads safety. Both are positive in real
operation plan the vehicle routes if it means tire chains are required.
The elevation takes you from low to high therefore preparing with
material requirements of sand, small rocks, salts, and schedule with
lot for lot order when roads lots sixes for components are planned.

How were food producers impacted by the U.S. government’s
requirement to identify the trans fat content on product labels?
With the Government mandating with inclusion of the trans-fat
content in the product labels increases the operational cost of the
food producers. They must include the cost of the content analysis
and revision of product labels to be compliant. Since as the
consumers already know the trans-fat content, which has a negative
impact on the body since it increases the possibility of developing
illnesses like raising your bad (LDL) cholesterol levels and lower your
good (HDL) cholesterol levels. Eating trans-fats also increases your
risk of developing heart disease and stroke. It’s also associated with
a higher risk of developing type 2 diabetes. Now with the rise of
health-conscious consumers may opt to not buy the products
resulting in a decrease in some of the sales. Given this, now the food
producers might consider modifying their product design or adding a
new variant of products to cater to the demand of the consumers
with food products that has a low trans-fat content. Trans-fats are
easy to use and are very inexpensive for the producers or companies
to make. The FDA started to catch on with this unhealthy-ness and in
2015 they have determined that PHOs, the major source of artificial
trans-fat in the food supply, are no longer “Generally Recognized as
Safe,” or GRAS. They have pushed this date twice, once in 2018 and
again 2020. So, they know they’re not safe but along as they put a
label it is ‘not safe’ they’re in the green?

Suppose a company intends to offer a new service to some of its
internal customers. Briefly discuss how the fact that the customers
are internal would change the process of managing the four
phases of the service life cycle.
Internal customers would be mainly the stakeholders, shareholders,
workers, or someone who ensures that the service or services are
handed to the external guests. There are some possibilities that the
process will be changed or modified if the company introduces a new
service to the internal guests. For instance, the workers as part of
the internal guests would need some type of training and other
necessary conditions to acclimatize to any process change. For the
shareholders, since they enjoy the business association or the
company, they can either buy or vend their shares depending on the
anticipated result of this new service. In the growth phase, the
responsibility of the whole business association would be applicable
to ensure that the adding of demand or growth of the new service
matches the available coffers or force the workers or outsourced
services must examine and make necessary changes in their
services to start a new process. While in the maturity phase, where
the demand is anticipated to decline, the workers or the business
associations will have to make necessary strategies to fight the
decline in the demand. They generally must release elevations in
their new services or introduce another service. Now in the decline
phase, if the new services still have a promising quality and demand
given the right strategies, also the business association may have to
retain the new service and just make necessary conditions. This
implicates that if the new service started to decline and the company
decided to stop furnishing it to external consumers, there's a
possibility that the workers who give service directly to the
consumers may be laid- off or transfer to other services that the
company provides. With times quickly changing the raise of failure
people maybe not agree with this and opt out and few people with
be included. For instance, an employee discount may get abused and
the company may drop it due to too much loss and stolen items.

What would you do if you were Frank?
Frank’s situation is rather unique as he was on the path to handling
his job interview situation correctly, however, he violated the terms
of the two-year NDA by divulging the information too early. The fact
that the company didn’t hire him plays no part in whether the
agreement was violated. Also, just saying he was attempting to meet
the spirit of the NDA is not enough. If I were Frank, I would have been
upfront with the company that was conducting the interview in a
sense that he signed an NDA, and it’s best to go through with the
