Critical Thinking Definitions • Critical thinking is the art of analyzing and evaluating thinking with a view to improving it (Paul & Elder, 2008). • Critical thinking consists of (1) the art of analyzing how the human mind is engaged in thinking, (2) the ability to analyze and evaluate the data the mind receives, and (3) the capability to use thinking for educational purposes (Birjandi et al., 2020). • This is the process of brainstorming or initiating ideas as a way of finding solutions to conflicts or issues (Abitheira et al., 2022). 11/16/2023 3
