Explain how you will take some of the skills you learned about in the course into the
workplace. How will you commit to developing as an ethical practitioner in your future
career?
In various cultures around the world, ethics can be provided or conceptualized in different
manners. The angle may be unique, narrower or broader while providing a beneficial purpose,
whether societal, institutional, family-related, religious, etc. It is not tidy, and people typically
struggle with this. even those who are most outspoken about morality and ethics. Candidates
with a strong work ethic are valued by employers because they can have a beneficial impact on
their coworkers. An employer is more likely to achieve their business goals and doesn't have to
devote as much time to supervising their workers when they have a team of people who have a
strong work ethic. The basic rules of ethics are to be observed and concentrated on separately.
Avoid making decisions for yourself, but be aware of yourself. According to me, I have learned
how to make ethical choices using ethical reasoning, which is one of the skills I acquired in
social and ethical issues in business. There will be instances in the workplace where social and
ethical problems arise. But after learning ethical reasoning, I will take into account both the issue
and the relevant portion of the story, discuss it with the relevant parties, and then make a choice
that is morally right for everyone. Paying attention to the actions of others, such as your
manager, colleagues, and other working staff, is also a talent. If their activities are having a
negative impact on other workers, you need to determine whether there is an ethical problem
based on the way they behave. It will help me make decisions that are socially responsible and
ethical. The ability to effectively communicate the organization's ethics policies so that everyone
at work takes notice of them and abides by them at all times will be crucial when it comes to
identifying and resolving ethical issues. Being an ethical employee or manager who consistently
follows and supports the ethics policies and ensures that others are doing the same is the first
step in my commitment to becoming an ethical practitioner. This mindset is required to protect
workplace ethics and maintain decorum. Additionally, I am going to carry out the role of a
supervisor, which includes investigating and drawing conclusions about other people's ethical
characteristics and conduct and how those characteristics affect how they interact and work
within the organization. This will allow me to develop into a more effective ethical practitioner
in the future and empower me to create my own ethical principles and behaviors based on the
organizational culture and working environment. It will take time for me to gain the trust of my
co-workers, superiors, and employees so that they will see me as an effective ethical practitioner
who is the right person for the job, ensuring that ethics are always followed and maintained by
everyone in the organization and that those who overrule or violate them face consequences. I
will provide transparent and clear explanations of my responses and recommendations. Further, I
will encourage diversity and inclusivity within the workplace by creating a supportive
environment that values different perspectives and experiences. This could involve implementing
policies that promote diversity and inclusivity, as well as actively seeking out diverse candidates
during the hiring process. I will commit to continuous learning and development, staying
unbiased and objective, respecting confidentiality and privacy, ensuring transparency, and being
accountable for my actions and decisions. By implementing these practices, you can contribute
to a more socially responsible and ethical workplace, which will benefit both your organization
and society as a whole.
