The Republican Party, founded in 1854, supports life, liberty, and happiness, while the Democratic Party, founded in 1828, emphasizes social justice, equality, and fairness through government action in healthcare, education, and social welfare. The party advocates gun control, environmental regulation, and progressive taxes. The Republican National Committee manages the party platform, financing, election strategy, and convention. RNC outreach has focused on youth and minority voters. For a decade, the Republican Party has been criticized, affecting Americans.
In the next two to ten years, the Republican Party will be divided into different factions. Brandy et al. (2022) suggest that corporate-class libertarians and working-class populists may split the party. Republican Party members worry a civil war between pro- and anti-Trump factions could break the party and lose elections. Democrats own 23 of the 33 Senate seats available for re-election in 2024, which some Republicans say favors them. Most Republican supporters fear infighting might cost Republicans the White House and the Senate (Brandy et al.,
2022). Former Speaker Newt Gingrich predicted that the Trump-anti-Trump conflict might secure Joe Biden's landslide re-election and everything else to Democrats. Top Republicans do not think this will happen, but they think the GOP has more time to decide on Trump. The party has faced many challenges and is still recovering from the 2022 midterm cycle, which impacted its footprint on American citizens. Republicans have a good map despite Democrats winning 23 of 33 Senate seats in 2024; thus, democrats may struggle with the 2024 Senate map (Al Weaver, 2022). However, a coming presidential primary contest divides the GOP, forcing them to focus on Joe Biden and cease the infighting. The Republican Party's future is unknown, but its violent insurrectionist activities are worrying. The party must address these challenges and unite if it wishes to survive. A new Republican Party that embraces Trump's "progressive conservatism"

may unite the nation. If the party wants to survive, it must find common ground and connect with
Americans (Buckley, 2021).
Trump's party appeal and Trumpism align his beliefs and programs with America's ongoing needs, making him the Republican Party's dominant faction. However, the party is also uniting against President Biden and focusing less on each other and the speculations of the 2020 election being stolen (Wright, 2020). The popularity has been attributed to the Conservative Republican philosophy, which dates back to 1854. After Trump's win, the party changed significantly; thus, Trump's party appeal and Trumpism aligned his beliefs and plans with America's needs, making him the Republican Party's dominant faction. From Independence Hall in Philadelphia, President Biden stressed democracy and equality, which he thinks are under attack. He called former President Trump and his supporters political extremists who threaten American democracy (The White House, 2022). The president accused MAGA Republicans of disobeying the Constitution, not accepting electoral results, and inciting political violence. He stressed that Americans must choose to move ahead or backward at an inflection point (The White House, 2022). As a result, Biden urged Americans to unite against this democratic attack. Republicans have a favorable map despite Democrats owning 23 of 33 Senate seats in 2024. A new Republican Party that embraces Trump's "progressive conservatism" may unite the nation. The party is also unifying against President Biden and less on each other and the 2020 election stolen (Weissert, 2023). If the party wishes to survive, it must face the rise of violent insurrectionist actions, unify, find common ground, and connect with Americans. Therefore, corporate-class libertarians and working-class populists split the Republican Party. If the party wishes to survive, it must face the rise of violent insurrectionist actions and unify. Despite rallying against President Biden, the party must find common ground and reach out to the

American people to stay relevant. The Marathon Initiative, a new think group on great-power competition, may influence Republican foreign policy (Weissert, 2023).
The Republican Party is at a critical point in its 2024 presidential campaign and needs a broad base of supporters due to uncertainties over the nominee. The GOP must appeal to Trump's
detractors to retake the White House. "Progressive conservatism," which embraces middle-of-
the-road and left-of-center economic perspectives while upholding traditional social values, may solve this dilemma on the party's nominee as the 2024 elections approach. This viewpoint condemns elite corruption and celebrates working-class American values; if the party wants to survive, it must address its violent insurrectionist acts and unite. The Marathon Initiative, a new think group on great-power competition, may influence Republican foreign policy, requiring them to identify common ground and reach out to the American people to stay relevant. The Republican Party faces internal and foreign challenges that will shape its destiny. The party's pro- and anti-Trump groups have exacerbated this rift, causing a lack of unity and direction. In addition, party members are uneasy about the likelihood of a violent uprising. Despite these obstacles, the 2024 election map favors Republicans. The party can capitalize by uniting under "progressive conservatism," which embraces center-left economics and traditional social values. It would unite Trump supporters and non-Trump voters, enabling the party to retake the White House; a strategy that relies on a candidate who can unify the party and appeal to a broad audience; thus, the candidate should appeal to corporate-class libertarians, working-
class populists, pro-Trump, and anti-Trump sections. The Marathon Initiative may inspire new Republican foreign policy views, a party strength enabling the party to appeal to business-class libertarians, working-class populists, and American exceptionalism by emphasizing great-power competition. The Republican Party's future success depends on its ability to identify common
