2 PSY 108 Project Two: Behavior Change Blueprint Part 1. Set a Goal My goal is to find a house in the next two months Part 2: Apply Self-Assessments Coping Strengths I scored high on proactive coping scoring a 42 out of 56.People in this range use proactive strategies consistently. Proactivity foster empowerment by emphasizing the advantage of creating your own situations in which you can succeed. As a result, proactive individuals are often less likely to be complacent, so my continual growth mindset helps drives toward achieving my goal. My lowest score was emotional support seeking scoring a 11 out of 20. I could improve this coping skill by changing my mindset in thinking I can do all things myself and reach out to others for support. Grit I scored a 37 out of 50 so I'm as gritty as 50% of American adults. Growing up wasn't easy for me so I've always been the type of person to keep to myself. I'm going to use my grit to reach out and ask for help in locating a house. Maybe ask my siblings to be on a lookout in their area so that is doesn't become stressful on me. Personality Traits My high score on openness and conscientiousness because I'm optimistic about new things and I'm a responsible and reliable person. My high score in conscientiousness can support because I value routine. I and am able to keep myself motivated to set a schedule to be able to look for a house.
