In the video, the baby wants her caregiver or her mother around as she explores new places and things such as toys. When she feels anxious or scared, she wants to find comfort from her caregiver. The mother responding to her child, or her actions helps them connect and feel more secure together (Berger, 178). 2. After watching the video about childcare, write what you will look for if you need childcare for your child. The care person is there to patiently guide the correct behavior of the child with love and care because this is important to their development. I want someone to play and show interest in my child by responding to the child’s needs and being less controlling or demanding. 3.
