The client's concerns about her recent behavior are confirmed by the assessments' results. The client's assessments show an extroverted personality as well as an orderly behavior pattern which differs from the behaviors the client self-reported. By contrasting the client’s current behavior with those from the past it is decided Barbara shows mild signs of depression. A number of assessments and tools given to the client supported this diagnosis. The CAD, The Psychological Intake Form, and the Sentence Completion Test follow the symptoms listed in the DSM-5 for Major Depressive Disorder [ CITATION Ame13 \l 1033]. Overall, the test results are correct and dependable. Regarding reliability and validity, the tests that were given out followed all recommendations as well as American Psychological Association Ethics section 9.08b, psychologists do not base decisions or recommendations on tests and measures that are obsolete and not useful for current purpose (American Psychological Association,2017). The self- reporting part is not a factor of reliability since the client has supported the utmost honesty during assessments. However, there are limitations about the Sentence Completion Test and the House Tree Person Test. These are open to different interpretations depending on the physician. It is advised that the client undergo added testing and seek treatment from both a Primary Care Physician and a Counselor or Psychologist. The following added tests are recommended: the Beck Depression Inventory, or the Hamilton Depression Rating Scale. The BDI is used to screen for depression and to measure behavioral manifestations and severity of depression while the HAM-D measures depression in individuals before, during, and after 3treatment [ CITATION Ame22 \l 1033]. These results should be compared to the client's earlier Clinical Assessment of Depression.
