These norms are then passed down through socialization processes and contribute to the perpetuation of traditional gender roles. 2. Describe the influence of social role expectations within the various levels of your social ecosystem. For example, within my family, there may be certain expectations about gender roles and responsibilities. In my workplace, there may be stereotypes and assumptions about how men and women should behave in leadership positions. These expectations can shape my choices and impact my experiences. 3. Describe the ways in which your social, cultural, or spiritual attitudes might reinforce social role stereotypes. My social, cultural, or spiritual attitudes might reinforce social role stereotypes by internalizing and perpetuating these norms through socialization processes. For example, if I hold traditional views about gender roles, I may inadvertently reinforce these stereotypes through my interactions and expectations of others.
