Welcome to week one of the “Honor Thy Parents series. In this series, we will shed light on the value our parent brings to our development form adolescents to adulthood. I do not know about you all, but my Mother is one of my favorite woman in my life. It is paramount as Christians to understand the significance of Mother's Day. In today’s sermon, we will Proverbs 31:10-31. Mothers places a high priority on home life, so in return we must not let our days pass by wasted and unfruitful. 1 II. God's Design for Motherhood A. Conclusion Mother's Day is all about shedding light on the hard working women in our lives. In today’s society, a lot are expected of women. We criticize mothers who choose not to stay at home, but we pressure women on government assistance to leave their children behind. 2 I pray that all women are blessed enough to become a Mother or Motherly figure at some point in life. I will close out with a prayer to all mothers and I encourage of you to do the same.
