People who are interested in learning more about what GCU offers should see that Grand
Canyon University’s Doctrinal Statement supports their beliefs as a university because the world
bubble clearly shows they believe in christianty, the themes, message and journey attached to it.
The word bubble made directly from the words of the statement, shows the words, “Believe,
God, Spirit, Jesus (Grand Canyon University 2021).” These words listed in big and small
lettering make it evident that is what Grand Canyon believes in and holds themselves to. “The
spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ as one holy catholic and apostolic Church,
Christ’s Body and Bride ministering reconciliation to a lost world. As ambassadors for the
Kingdom of God and the Church, we affirm that evangelism and engagement in societal issues
are both part of our Christian duty (Grand Canyon University 2021).”
These same words can be
spotted in the word bubble “Christianity, Kingdom, Believers, World (Grand Canyon University
2021).”
The words appearing in both the statement and the word cloud makes it prevalent that
Grand Canyon stands strong with the “christinaity” religion and firmly believes in the message
and journey of God and Jesus Christ our savior.
Furtherly “WE BELIEVE that there is one God,
eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We believe in God the Father, the
Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all that is, seen and unseen (Grand Canyon University
2021),” is written clearly into the Doctrinal Statement, enclosing the idea that Grand Canyon
University believes in Christinaty and its single god, teachings, message and journey.
