1 Abstract Share Jesus Without Fear begins and ends by reassuring its readers what evangelism is really all about. Author William Fay dismisses the fear factor early on when he writes, “You see, success is sharing your faith and living your life for Jesus Christ. It has nothing whatsoever to do with bringing anyone to the Lord. It has everything to do with obedience.” 1 He goes on to address one of the top reasons why Christians are reluctant to carry out the Great Commission as he continues, “Even if you do not have the privilege to see someone respond the first time you share your faith, you have not failed, because you were obedient.” 2 The book offers a no-nonsense, simple, and practical approach to one-on-one evangelism. It outlines a step-by-step method in sharing the gospel and provides an easy way to drive conversations towards Jesus Christ and the salvation He alone can give. After appealing to the biblical reason for sharing one’s faith, and helping the reader to fend off the common excuses to not share, the book centers on the process. It highlights five questions to ask anyone in order to get to know them and enable them to dig deeper into spiritual matters concerning their salvation. In a methodical way the book then proceeds to break down and utilize scriptural foundations of the Christian faith and its uniqueness to establishing a relationship with Jesus as the only means by which humanity can be saved. Additionally, the book also offers friendly, non-argumentative means to answer common objections as it also aims to nurture new believers into a deeper, more meaningful relationship with Christ. By means of real-life witnessing experiences, the author offers readers proven ways to equip and enable themselves when presented with the opportunity to share the gospel.
