Ramirez 1 Victoria Ramirez CHIC 2302 TR 12PM October 12, 2023 Why with your people? How does an entire country freeze in time? This issue is the case of Cuba, a country rich in culture and freedom that after Fidel Castro became president, went into decline. Castro era in Cuba has an incredibly significant transformation in its economy, politics, and culture. During and after Castro the country struggles with the complexities of transitioning. The most important thing is how all this affected the country and the Cubans. Although Fidel Castro is no longer in power, Cuba will never be the same again. It's fascinating the way Castro controlled Cuba for years, 44 to be exact. References BENJAMIN-ALVARADO, J., & PETROW, G. A. (2012). Stability, Transition, and Regime Approval in Post-Fidel Cuba. One of the most important topics is Cuba's economy and how difficult it will be to create a global economy. In my thesis, one of the points that I use is also economy and this book is the perfect resource to support my ideas and give legitimate information. I like that this book tells us a little about how Cuba became what it is today. - “Stability, transition, and regime approval in post-Fidel Cuba” The book "Stability, transition, and regime approval in post-Fidel Cuba" talks about how Cuba is not a democratic country and citizens do not have the power to choose who they want in government. This book is full of analysis and information that has been collected over the years.
