2 Pick Your Passion Assignment Student Name: Tyneshia Peppers Date: March 10, 2024 Use Chapter Two as a guide to complete this assignment. You must follow this template. 1. List the eight passions in the order that intrigue you the most. First A Child Second Equity/Social Justice Third Content Knowledge Fourth Curriculum Fifth Context Sixth Teaching Strategies/Techniques Seventh Personal/Professional Identities Eighth Beliefs About Practices 2. Justify your top two passions. Why did you choose those two? What interests you the most about them? How, by exploring the two, will they have potential impact on your instruction and student academic outcomes? I wanted to be a teacher to help other students conquer the unequal and unloving world we live in. I want to show my students I care for them by teaching them to the best of my ability and treating them with equality and fairness. Students who are a little harder to love or show equality to, may not have the positive attention they need at home or when they leave from the teacher’s presence. That is why it is so important to show interest and passion in this profession because a teacher who cared and treated a child with equality will have so much impact on that child’s life. As students begin to feel loved, cared about, equal, and fair, they will start to succeed academically. That should make a teacher want to pour love and equality into every student. I believe my two top passions will set me up for success all throughout my career. I believe this because to be a teacher, you must have a “passion” for the
