Practice evaluation focuses on individual practice, no other involvements of the program are considered (Dudley, 2020). This evaluation process includes research- based efficiency standards for their practice and its outcomes with clients (Dudley, 2020). The NASW Code of Ethics states, “A historic and defining feature of social work is the profession’s dual focus on individual well-being in a social context and the well- being of society.” (NASW, 2021). In social work, this is an ever-evolving process that must be met with an ever-evolving process. To be effective, you must be effective. That means reviewing your methods and current research, checking your data results, and remaining ethical to provide the best service possible. You identified competence and cultural competence as your potential ethical challenge. I appreciate that you addressed his military culture as an aspect to consider. The NASW offers Standards for Social Work with Service Members, Veterans, and Their Families (NASW, 2012). These standards are designed to increase social workers’ understanding of the “skills, knowledge, values, methods, and sensitivities needed to work effectively with this population.” (NASW, para. 18, 2012).    References Dudley, J.
