By definition, practice evaluation evaluates a person or group's work in the social or health sector. Increasing efficacy is critical in social work and calls for a formal, scientific, and impartial approach (Davis, 2017). Also, it is distinct from program evaluation in that it concentrates on the efficacy of persons, whereas the latter evaluates the quality of programs and treatments. Even with evidence-based interventions, social workers must still assess their work to gauge effectiveness (National Association of Social Workers, 2021). Since the court's involvement may jeopardize maintaining confidentiality, evaluating the client Tiffani presents an ethical difficulty. References Davis, T. D. (2017). Practice Evaluation Strategies Among Social Workers: Why an Evidence-Informed Dual-Process Theory Still Matters. Journal of Evidence- Informed Social Work, 14(6), 389-408.
