We will also explore how to build a positive and professional online presence and identify three essential skills/areas that an individual needs to work on to become better qualified and prepared for this position, along with improvement plans. Typical Duties and Responsibilities: Juvenile Probation Officers have a range of duties, including supervising young people on probation, providing counseling and guidance, developing treatment plans, coordinating services, and maintaining accurate records. They also work closely with community agencies, schools, and families to ensure the young people under their supervision can access the resources they need to succeed. Juvenile Probation Officers attend court hearings, make recommendations to judges, and work with other professionals in the juvenile justice system to ensure that young people receive appropriate services. Most Common Qualifications: The most common qualifications for a Juvenile Probation Officer include a bachelor's degree in social work, criminal justice, psychology, or a related field. Many employers also require previous experience working with young people or in the criminal justice system. Strong

communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for success in this role. By adhering to these guidelines, juvenile probation officers can maintain a positive online reputation and advance their career objectives. Improvement Plans: To become better qualified and prepared for the position of a Juvenile Probation Officer, an individual should focus on improving the following skills/areas:

1. Conflict Resolution: Juvenile Probation Officers often work with young people who have experienced trauma and may be resistant to treatment. Developing skills in conflict resolution can help officers navigate challenging situations and build positive relationships with clients. 2.
