How do factories affect the Carbon Cycle?
Carbon dioxide plays a vital role in our life span. It is needed for proper growth of plants. Plants absorb carbon dioxide from the atmosphere and release it when they die. Plants play a vital role in controlling the carbon cycle. Plants breathe in carbon dioxide and breathe out oxygen. People breathe in oxygen and breathe out carbon dioxide. Excessive carbon dioxide is linked with greenhouse effect. Since industrialization, many factories have emerged. Factories are known to emit toxics chemicals when they produce products. Factories use fossil fuels to produce goods in bulk. Fossil fuels release a lot of carbon dioxide in the air. As we all know, trees are cut down to pave way for factories. Deforestation reduces the amount of vegetation absorbing carbon dioxide. Factories release poisonous chemicals that make soil less habitable for new plantation. Regions surrounding any factory are slow in supporting new plants. This is because of gases and chemicals emitted by the fossil fuels.

Normal Carbon cycle is known to control water storage, temperature and precipitation. Excess carbon dioxide interferes with this function. It brings warm temperature. Momentarily, this increases the amount of water vapor in the atmosphere. This triggers occurrence of some natural disasters on land and on water bodies. Some plants require little carbon dioxide to grow. Such plants tend to wither or not grow at all as a result of greenhouse effect. That’s not all; greenhouse effect results into melting of Antarctic ice.Lastly, water bodies end up drying up as a result of excessive carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.
Factories need to look for fuels that are environment friendly. Factories have increased the rate of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere to the point the ozone layer is becoming wearing. This will eventually allow the dangerous ultra violet rays to penetrate into the
The authors describes that greatly increasing Carbon dioxide gas in the earth atmosphere bring about rising of earth temperature. A greenhouse gas, Carbon Dioxide, is an unaware emission product of human activities such as industrial, transportation, and human facilities. Scientist wisely claim that only 1.5 degrees Fahrenheit rising have made change in weather patterns and sea water level in this century. The earth temperature rising come up with many plants and animals die out. Moreover, dropped agriculture products effect 1 percent global economic losses.
The heavy usage of machinery and fossil fuels required in industrialization leads to high amounts of carbon emissions. The mass amount of raw materials used in each industry accumulates and
On average the world us 39% electricity therefore, electricity consumption is an important portion of a customer’s environmental footprint, which leads to the production of Carbon Dioxide ( Co2) a few ways production of electricity has affected the environment is: The main sources that generate carbon dioxide are thermal powered stations where hydrocarbon fuel (gas, oil, and coal) are burned to produce heat and steam to drive to the generators. Hydrocarbon fuel is what causes carbon dioxide letting out chemicals that pollute the earth’s environment.
Factory Farms pollutes the by producing lots of mature gas. (foodspower.org)“One dairy cow produces 120 lbs of wet manure per day, which is equivalent to 20-40 people . “Factory farming pollutes the air by producing lots of methane gas.According to (foodspower.org), confined animal feeding operations, or CAFOS use machines to do the job humans do.The machines are powered by diesel, which means produce emission. The emission produce by machines for CAFOS are not produced with traditional farming because people usually do the work.CAFOs ruin the ground and Earth when
pollution, and damage to plant life on a global scale has become more and more problematic as time goes on. As good that are manufactured in other nations are produced faster, and more efficiently, the usage of fuel to transport these goods has spiked massively. As stated in a publication OCED “As critical drivers of outsourcing, transport systems have multiplied alongside international trade. Emissions from road transport (mainly cars and lorries) are of course very high, but more so within national borders.” (OCED, pg 112) from a report from bp’s 2012 statistical review shows, china’s (a country heavily outsourced to) coal burning has increased by 1 million metric tons since 2001. (our finite world, pg.
First of all, we often hear that carbon dioxide (CO2) has a negative impact on the temperature of our planet, also known as global warming.
Global Warming has been a big issue that has effects on the environment, people, and the world, and if not stopped now, the results could be catastrophic. The main cause of climate change is likely to be the result of too much carbon dioxide (CO2) in the atmosphere. CO2 creates a blanket which traps heat. Burning fossil fuels for energy, such as coal, oil, and natural gas release CO2 which impacts the atmosphere heavily. Waste management and agricultural practices also produce gases that contribute to climate change, such as methane. There are many contributing factors to climate change.
As carbon dioxide is a greenhouse gas, increased concentrations of it have led to an amplified greenhouse effect. More solar infrared radiation is re-emitted and absorbed by the Earth, causing surface temperatures to rise. Therefore, the density of the surface waters will decrease, which means there is a greater
Main Point - Despite the fact that a specific amount of carbon dioxide (CO2) happens naturally in the Earth's atmosphere, there are many human activities that boost the levels of the greenhouse gases causing it to be harmful to Earth`s climate.
Carbon dioxide is a greenhouse gas. Greenhouse gas is the reflect radiation that the earth emits, and stop it from being lost into space. This causes the Earth 's temperature to be higher than it would be without greenhouse gases. Ever since the Industrial Revolution began around 1750, human activities have contributed a lot to climate change by adding carbon dioxide and among other heat-trapping gases into the atmosphere. Some scientists think that greenhouse gases are causing global warming, the rise of Earth 's surface temperature.
One environmental pollution are caused by factories because the product they produce causes the filth out of them. This could be the car production or agricultural production. America produces a lot of cars for all the people to drive. More cars makes more carbon dioxide (filth) which causes deaths, health problems and global warming. Perhaps we can switch to a different energy source to power these vehicles.
How does Carbon Dioxide impact global climate? Analysis: Carbon dioxide impacts global climate change because it has created extreme weather events, the sea level has risen, and the oceans have warmed. This is happening because of the carbon dioxide that is trapped in the atmosphere, and is making the climate rise. Carbon dioxide levels have drastically changed over time, as they rise each year.
The carbon cycle deals with the interaction of carbon between living organisms and the nonliving environment. This cycle is a process through which all carbon rotates. The main result of the carbon cycle is to serve as a great natural "recycler" of carbon atoms.
When Carbon dioxide is released into the atmosphere over time the carbon will add up resulting in the average temperature of Earth’s air and ocean. The temperature change takes over hundreds of years to change so the average temperature we see right now could most likely still rice if all carbon dioxide emission are eliminated. Humans contribute to global warming by increasing the greenhouse effect. The greenhouse effect occurs when greenhouse gases, carbon dioxide, methane, nitrogen oxide, and fluorinated gases, collect in the earths atmosphere. Sun light passes through the atmosphere to the earth surface to allow the earth to heat up. The atmosphere traps the heat on earth to develop the earths temperature. The greenhouse effect is ruining this because the greenhouse gases trap to much heat on the earth causing overtime a higher average temperature. Carbon dioxide accounts for 82% of all United States greenhouse gas emissions from human activities. Currently the United States is ranked second in the top carbon dioxide emitters in the world.
The causes of air pollution are burning fossils fuels releases gases and chemicals into the air. Climate changes also increases the production of allergenic air pollutants including mold. ‘There are examples of air pollution such as coal, oil, natural gas, and gasoline to produce electricity and power our vehicles.’ “Carbon dioxide (CO2) is a good indicator of how much fossil fuel is burned and how much of other pollutants are emitted as a result.”(How Do We Cause Air Pollution)
