I would recommend this book 100% because it is a nice in between of drama and sports. So good for those interested in sports, as well for those who like the dramatic feel of books. It will keep a person locked in wanting to know how things are going to turn out. Whether Doctor Bennet will break and retract his findings or how he will face the world and stand up for himself and his research. This book is so descriptive in each piece of information that it gives and it will keep your eyes glued just wanting to know what will happen
To being, the first chapter brings the colorful history of Liberty University. Also, the chapter describes how the founder, Dr. Jerry Falwell Sr., started the log journey to make the University what it is today. It shows that when one puts his faith into the Lord that many things can be accomplished. The Mission Statement that embraces the biblical world view. It helps us to realize our commitment to Jesus, and our loyalty to him as a Christian.

I was checking my grades and noticed you graded Activity Three 10/30 because it was “missing Managing CSS and Working With Images.” But on the Activity Three assignment page it only mentions having to turn turning in the 9: Working With Tables files. It did not mention having to turn in any of the others. Is there any way this grade could be adjusted? Would re-submission be an option?
I just came back from a battle near the city of Ypres. The German forces launched 5700 canisters of chlorine gas at the Allied forces. You could see the yellow-green clouds of gas rolling towords our lines. It was devastating. The gas affected over 10,000 people, killing half of them. The cause of death was asphyxiation. The Algerian forces retreated, and the Germans moved forward to fill the gaps, albeit cautiously. They stopped after only 3.25 kilometres and dug in. That allowed us soldiers to recover. We fought all night to try and close the gap. Then came another gas attack. Their target was us, the Canadian line. We were suffocating, so we covered our faces with urine-covered handkerchiefs.
The book is a good book because it makes you ask questions while you're reading it but what's happening and to get a better understanding on what's happening in the story. Like in my book the characters wonder if their dad is going to come home from the war and if he's alive or dead. This makes you question if he is really dead or alive
I would recommend this book to people who just want to read something because they're bored, because this book doesn’t really have any in-depth plot or characters. It’s not that it bore me it’s that it didn’t have any meaning. But if someone wanted a quick summer read or just wanted to distract themselves then this would be the
The book is simple and easy to read. The author has a good use of English language. He uses specific words, therefore making his book highly readable.
It captured my attention from the beginning. I like how the Rand was descriptive words to help me have an image of what was happening in the novel. I like the story line. I like the idea of someone breaking way from everyone else and being different from others. That they are able to think for themselves and that it is ok to be different from others. I also liked how the novel had some romance because I do enjoy romance novels. The Language Police written by Diane Ravitch, I did not quit enjoy the book. I do not really like books like that. I do not recommend this book if you are not interested in how the bias panel chooses stories for children. I do recommend the novel, Anthem. It gives the reader a sense of individualism, there is a story behind
In the past two years, I've had the privilege of volunteering at the "Ready for School" event at Faith Lutheran Church in Arlington Heights. Ready for School, or more commonly known as "Backpack Day", is an event where Arlington Heights school districts and other community members help fund to purchase school supplies for under privileged students in Arlington Heights. In addition, on the day of the event there are multiple community services, such as the police and fire departments, the library and park district in attendance to help families understand the resources they offer. The numbers of families and students that attend increase each year, this year with over 600 backpacks.
In the book, Teach Like a Champion 2.0 the author states how important building ratio through questioning is. The author breaks down chapter seven into five techniques; each technique has a specific target. Additionally, technique thirty-two is waits time; allow students time to think before answering the questions. If the students are not able to use that time wisely then the teacher must narrate them toward being more productive. Affording students significant periods of thinking after each question a teach ask increases think ratio. Also, they are several benefits of waiting a couple of seconds between questions and answer enabling more students to participate, supporting better answers and increasing the use of evidence within
I wouldn’t recommend this book to the average reader. It is a bit hard to read because the author goes into so much depth that the reader could very often forget the main idea. It is a good, informative book but a bit drawn out.
For this book analysis, I read the book A Piece of Cake by Cupcake brown. It is a memoir told by Cupcake about her life. She starts the book at age 11, when she was living a normal and pleasant life with her mother in San Diego. She was quite close to her along with her step father (who, at the time, she thought was her biological father), and her uncle. Then out of nowhere, she finds her mother dead in her room and her life is shaken into disaster. The court system had to turn both her and her brother over to her biological father whom she never met, instead of giving her to the man she was raised by. Her father then sent her to a foster home where she was raped and beaten constantly. When she
Bell Hooks was born Gloria Watkins on September 25, 1952. She grew up in a small Southern community that gave her a sense of belonging as well as a sense of racial separation. She has degrees from Stanford University, the University of Wisconsin, and the University of California at Santa Cruz. She has served as a noted activist and social critic and has taught at numerous colleges. Hooks uses her great-grandmother's name to write under as a tribute to her ancestors.
The rating I would give this book is a 5 star because the author pulled me in and kept me reading. This book was so good and here are 2 quotes to prove it: “If the mind's not strong, the body acts weak, even if it's not. If the mind says it's too cold or too rainy or too windy to run, the body will be more than happy to agree. If the mind says it would be better to rest or recover or cut practice, the body will be glad to oblige.” “Don't sum up a person based on what you see, or what you don't understand; get to know them” I would totally recommend this book to your friends and family because it is one of the top 3 books I have ever read. After you read this book, you will think the same. The reason I would totally recommend this book is that this book changed how I look at people. Especially special needs kids. This book made me look at someone at my school who is special needs and people shouldn’t look at her disability, but they should look at her and think of what kind of person she is. I was friends with her and she is really sweet and kind once you get to know her. That’s my message to you. Focus on what’s on the inside of people and not on the
