Heaven is a real place. Jesus had actually called heaven an actual place, filled with real people. John 14: 1-3 had compared heaven to a large mansion with several rooms. Revelation 21 compares heaven to an enormous city filled with many people.
The Bible also teaches us that heaven is the place of God. God’s throne is in heaven, the angels , and the Lord Jesus Christ is in heaven. Philippians 3: 20 says that “our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Saviour from there, the Lord Jesus Christ”. In Luke 23:43. Jesus told a thief on a cross, “Today you will be with me in paradise” - heaven is often referred to as “Paradise”
Heaven is not as far as we think, since heaven is real, the Bible explains it's not as far as we might think. “ But you have come to Mount Zion, to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem. You have come to thousands upon thousands of angels in joyful assembly, to the church of the firstborn, whose names are written in heaven. You have come to God, the Judge of all, to the spirits of the righteous made perfect, to Jesus the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood that speaks a better word than the blood of Abel.”

The is the picture from Revelations 21: 15-21 explains all about the precious stones and the gold that heaven will be made of. On earth we treasure gold as a sign of wealth but in heaven, it is the pavement they walk
The afterlife is a concept that has troubled humans for a long time. For many decades, people have worried about “their ticket” to heaven and what heaven consist off. First and far most, Mouw stresses the fact that there’s more to life than to just make it to a separate world or heaven. He says our life is about redemption of humans, but also transformation of culture. However, people are still and will always be concerned about getting into heaven. Fortunately, Mouw answers these questions with biblical interpretation. Like I said previously, Christians have believed heaven to be a distant world in which saved souls rest after being extracted from earth. Mouw believes heaven to be a renewed creation of God in which the earth is not destroyed, but rather transformed and
To attain Heaven, we must focus on the present moment, the only moment in time where we have control and is therefore the only moment in time related to eternity. This present moment is the only time in which we can have an experience akin to the experiential reality of God. Each successive moment of time is our physical
In most religions, especially the Judeo-Christian faith, heaven or the afterlife is a place reserved for those who are able to somehow earn or receive an appointed place there during their life on earth. In the Christian tradition, those who attain eternal life are able to forgo the earthly pleasures that tempt them while they live, and form a separate entity that rejects carnality and remains obedient to God. While recognizing themselves as inherently sinful creatures, they seek to come as close as they can to the holiness of the divine during their life on earth, in order to reap the benefits after death. A separation from the world and an eventual
The Garden of Eden has long been classified as a model of “paradise.” Odysseus is also found in a place of paradise,
Later on in the book Alexander talks about the core where he saw "[b]ig, puffy, pink-white [clouds] that showed up sharply against the deep blue-black sky" (p. 45). Everyone who thinks of heaven, thinks of clouds. It is not uncommon for anyone to describe heaven that way. It is very stereotypical and made it no different that anyone else's image of heaven. "A sound, huge and booming like a glorious chant, came from above, and I wondered if the winged beings were producing it" (Alexander, 2012, p. 45) is also another stereotype of what people say you'd hear when you're in heaven. Again, not enough proof.
As humans, we are always imagining what our lives will be like when we die. While the depictions of what hell or heaven may be from the ancient times and now, what has stayed consist is the idea of an afterlife altogether.
What is Paradise? Throughout history man has sought to create, find, or at least image a paradise on earth, a place where there is peace, harmony, and a surcease from the pain that plagues our lives. On the eve of World War II, James Hilton imagined such a place in his best-selling novel, Lost Horizon.
Or maybe we’ll find paradise in the sky when we die, When we die, When we die, yeah
However in Christianity there are opposing terms which are linked within life after death firstly heaven; defined as a place
On numerous occasions, the New Testament shared the concept of paradise alluding to a gathering place for the saints of God. When Jesus was on the cross with the criminal, He turned to him and replied, “Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in Paradise” (Lk, 23:43). From this point, Jesus provided an afterlife concept giving the criminal hope and satisfaction that there was more coming after death.
The only thing we have is scripture and that is what tells us about Heaven and Hell. We were born onto this earth with the freewill and choice to do and say whatever we want. If we choose to believe in Christ and walk with Him, we shall go to Heaven. If we do not believe in Christ and try to live life without Him, we shall
By chance do you know the way to heaven, that’s the place where we will live forever with no pain, no anger, no jealousy, live in peace and in harmony with everyone (Williams, “10 Bible Facts About Heaven”). An abundance of people are looking for God’s heaven. Don’t be fooled by anyone who says they know how to get to heaven, or they are going to heaven, everyone needs directions to heaven, the almighty God’s heaven has no specific address, no city, no state, or country, and it belongs to everyone. What do you do when you think of heaven? Typically, most of us look to the sky, heaven goes beyond the skies and deeper than all the lands and the oceans we will ever see. Heaven is everywhere (Williams, “10 Bible Facts About Heaven”).). Heaven is

Some follow a very traditional belief that heaven is a wonderful garden paradise where they will live for ever with God and Jesus. These people often believe that hell is a real place where people will suffer eternal
Heaven is the place where true peace is always felt. True peace can sometimes be felt on earth, but not understood by the human mind. The mind can only comprehend true peace once in heaven. There will never be peace on earth due to the various forms of corruption. Earth has both forces of good and evil influencing the billions of people that live. In heaven only pure good resides. Heaven cannot be corrupted by evil. With God in control the outside sources cannot influence the forces in heaven.
