My last few years of high school, I have thrived on challenging myself academically. I will graduate this May with not only a high school diploma but also twenty-two college credits. My senior year I completed nine college credits the first semester and I am currently taking six college
My number one goal for this semester is to maintain my 4.0 GPA. In regards to this class, I not only hope to work for the A, but to come out of this class gaining some valuable knowledge on the subject. As a non-science major, I would be really proud of myself If I do well. To reach this goal I would have to study hard and make sure I save some time to really focus on these labs. The same goes for my other 4.0 goal, I need to work on time management and improving my study habits. All this while trying to maintain a social life, will not be easy in the slightest. I will definitely have to work for it but as long as I keep up my determination, it can be achieved.
GPPA program provides me a guarantee admission for my future education in Nursing. As a GPPA member, I will keep my GPA above average during college years, and do my best to make a steady progress academically. Nurse anesthetist is my dream career, I would like to take the risks and complete any recommended courses to pursue my goals. becoming a member of GPPA program will offer me a considerable opportunity to complete my Bachelor's degree in Nursing and helps me achieve my goal with higher level educational content.
I have always succeeded in all of my courses with high marks, earning a place in the National Honor Society. I have been in accelerated English, math, and science since eighth grade and took my first Advanced Placement course in tenth grade. Midway through tenth grade, I made the decision to graduate early considering my senior year would be very minimal in course work. To graduate early, I took economics independently last spring and challenged the U.S History and Government course. I am currently taking thirteen credits in college courses and going on clinical rotations three times a week in the hospital through the New Vision Medical Program.
During my academic years at Concordia University, I’ve managed to keep a GPA above 3.0. Although I’ve done exceptionally well in some classes, I’ve struggled with others, but still managed to complete them with no grade lower than a B-. I believe that I am a hardworking individual who strives for perfection. When classes become difficult, I work twice as hard in order to succeed. Therefore, I use the resources that are available to me. For instance, I go to my professors’ office hours in order to ask questions and get a better understanding of the material. I also believe that I am a self-motivated and disciplined individual. In my transcript, you will notice that I was able to complete my degree within three years. I was able to do so by taking four classes per semester and by attending summer school. That being said, I am able to work under pressure. In addition, I have learnt how to manage my time properly and efficiently. Lately, I have been doing some co-curricular work on campus as a class notetaker. Due to my enjoyment of helping other students, I am currently volunteering and working as a notetaker, while taking five classes. Thus, since I have developed and enhanced some of my abilities during my undergraduate studies, I believe I am prepared for the new challenges that come with graduate school.
Even though I would like to continue studying while maintaining high GPA., I decided to take military service after last semester. The reason is because my father with his annual income cannot support whole family members since I have two more siblings who are a university student and a high school student. I would like to reduce the burden on my parents. They are always financially distressed and have hard time because of me, but they do not tell their financial problems to me. It is afflicting and painful to look at the circumstance. Doing part-time jobs with leave of absence from college is impossible anymore. Before I knew various scholarships of SUNY Korea, there was no suitable way to continue my academy. Fortunately,
I am appealing the admission decision on my transfer application because I feel that my GPA from my previous university, Georgia Institute of Technology, does not accurately reflect my potential at Florida State. There were extraneous circumstances that affected my GPA at Georgia Tech, and I feel my test scores and high school performance show a more accurate representation of my performance as a student.
In Matthew 19:26, it says, “But Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” With this powerful verse in mind, it is key to remember it when setting goals. Goals are achievable when they are placed in the Lord’s hands and within His plan. Without God’s strength, provision, and wisdom, the goals a person sets for themselves will perish. Keeping God in the center of making goals and ultimately surrendering plans to Him is crucial. Upon doing this, God will bless those who prioritize these important steps in their lives because ultimately, it will give Him all the glory.

Question two asks, can a student keep up their grade performance at the next level (Mirabella, 2011)? Is a strong GPA at the Bachelors level a good predictor of a strong GPA at the Masters level (Mirabella, 2011). Are GPAs naturally going to decline since graduate school is tougher (Mirabella, 2011)? Will GPAs automatically be higher in graduate school because of the 3.00 requirement to graduate (Mirabella, 2011)? The treatment of a C as subpar, instead of average (Mirabella, 2011). Using the sample of 200 students, conduct a hypothesis test for paired samples (Mirabella, 2011). Test if there is a difference in the mean GPA from the Bachelors to the Master's programs (Mirabella, 2011). Use a .05 significance level (Mirabella, 2011). The
Competition intimidates me, but it also drives me to be better. Having peers, including my twin brother, with the same goals and ambitions excites me- I am not an idealistic person who likes to pretend that there will always be enough to go around, and meeting so many intended finance majors really lights a fire under me. I enjoy life most when I am busy. I like to do three things at once and stress is somewhat of a constant comfort for me. I feel bad when I sleep in and days where I can’t check anything off from a to-do list are wasted. I want to get involved on campus, not because I want resume builders, but because I want to find my limits and grow as a person. I want to squeeze the most I can out of SMU and the opportunities I am offered. I realize the privileges I have been given by my parents and I will not let them go to waste. I want to build on what I have been given and become the most successful version of myself.
Leading I must look at my academics. My grade-point average isn’t where I would like it to be right now. I need to start by working on my grades and getting my average higher. To fulfill one of my goals I will need to set out some time every day to study all my classes and improve my learning skills in the classroom. Personally, start meeting with my teachers occasionally to see how I’m improving in their classes and to see if they recommend any study skills or new learning techniques. I need to stop procrastinating on my assignments just because they’re not due at a certain time, maybe I could complete some of them earlier so I won’t have to worry about the deadline.
I am a committed student with high personal goals. As demonstrated through my excellent university grades, I am a passionate learner and always aim to reach my full potential. I have received a congratulatory letter of excellence in seven of eight units studied at university so far. I engage in all practical and tutorial classes for every unit. I study to ensure the full benefit of my learning. Group study is a very important part of my learning experience and I believe working with those you find difficult to engage with as well and fantastic study partners is equally important. I regularly study in groups and bounce ideas off other students to gain a fuller
