I decided to do a research on a foundation called 4h. The words head, heart, hands, and health are the 4 keywords that the 4-H organization founded its core beliefs on; These words are symbolically written on the 4 leaf clover which is the symbol for 4-H. The founder of 4h was a country schoolmaster and agriculture extension pioneer at The Ohio State University whose name was Albert Belmont Graham. A.B Graham was born in 1868 near Lena, Ohio, and died in 1960. The 4-H organization started in a young boys garage in Clark County, Ohio in 1902, and now kids and young adults are participating in it all over the world. Albert B. Graham was born on a farm in Champaign County, Ohio, on March 13, 1868. His parents, Joseph A. and Esther Reed Graham, had married the year before he was born and a year and a half later they had his sister Leticia. Doing projects and showing animals are a great way to help kids feel more comfortable meeting new people and talking in front of groups. 4-H members build leadership by electing officers and conducting their own business meetings. They also learn to work together on community service activities, meet new friends, and most importantly have lots of fun. In conclusion, the 4h foundation Is a great program for anyone ages 5 to 21. It helps youngsters learn life skills by doing small projects with a group of 5 or more. At the age of five, I was very shy and timid, but one way I feel I have overcame this was joining the Cobb Busy Badger 4-H Club. I joined 4-H when I was five years old and have been involved ever since. Through the years of 4-H, I have made life long friends, developed public speaking skills, and most importantly I have been able to give back to the community in many ways. As a member of 4-H, I volunteer at the local food pantry, adopt-a-family during the holidays, rake leaves in the fall, and play BINGO at the local nursing home. The leadership qualities and values I have gained by being in 4-H are something I take great pride in and will use in the future to help reach my goals.

4-H is the biggest educational program for kids in the United States. It is an organization for the for the wholeness of youth. The movement of 4-H beginning started in the United States in a lot of places at the same time. However, A.B. Graham officially created it in January of 1902 in Clark County, Iowa. This was considered the birth of 4-H. In 1902, Graham started clubs similar to ours today. In his clubs, they worked on projects with vegetables, growing corn, flowers, and soil testing. Back then, the clubs used to be separated by boys and girls. The 4-H motto is “To Make the Best Better” and the slogan is “Learn By Doing.” 4-H is a lot of fun and many people do it.

4-H is the powerhouse that teaches it’s members to make significant contributions to the lives of those around them. I have worked at the state 4-H booth at our state fair, and I tried to be a beacon for 4-H, especially while I had the opportunity to reach so many people. My goal has been to represent 4-H in a positive manner. The best place to start is with Cloverbuds and Junior camps. I feel my work with this age group is most significant, as they will be our future 4-H. I have planned and conducted county Cloverbud camps and Junior Camps.
Through activities like the park clean-up at Harding Park, I have seen firsthand the positive impact these small gestures can have on the community. The appreciation and compliments we receive serve as a reminder of the importance of giving back. As I work towards becoming a chiropractor and eventually opening my own practice, I am committed to continuing this tradition of serving and supporting my hometown community. Furthermore, as I pursue my post-secondary education and career goals, the leadership skills I have honed through 4-H will enable me to excel in group projects and collaborations. 4-H is America’s largest youth development organization that teaches kids many valuable life skills by hands on learning taught by caring adults. The 4-H program is unique in the fact that it is provided by over 100 land-grand universities throughout the country along with cooperative extension. This is a huge benefit as it allows the volunteers in the communities access to topnotch youth development educators and research to support their local 4-H units. 4-H focuses on hands-on teaching methods to help youth build skills needed to become influential members of society.

The mechanistic view of an organization began with the industrial revolution. The view is a reflection of society's radical change from a rural agricultural base to one more impersonally based on centralized urban industry employing great numbers of people. The first changes began in the late 1600's and early 1700's with rudimentary machines replacing manual labor or accomplishing things not previously possible because of size, weight, or sheer numbers. The greatest industrial growth was during the 1800's period, which was exponential at its end and the outset of our century.
Stage 4 - Companies in this stage have broad analytic capabilities for solving local problems, but not at the organization level. Due to duplication of efforts and lack of appropriate employee skill sets and attitudes, the organization has some work to do to reach this level of analytical maturity. The CEO and executive team are supportive of analytical focus, but are not passionate about competing on this basis.
