Integrative Approaches to Psychology and Christianity argue ways that one can embrace psychology into the Christian world. The church has always been a dominant part of society. As Christians we all have precise worldview. Our worldview is based upon the Christian belief system. The second paradigm is the Spies. The author notes that not all spies are evil some happen to be friendly. These spies see the worth in everyone’s point of view (Entwistle, 2010). They steal thoughts and ideas and use them as they may. The third paradigm is the Colonialists, the colonialist see the significance in psychological ideas without underlying the importance of psychology as the authority (Entwistle, 2010). The fourth paradigm is the Neutral Parties; they consider the ideas of both psychology and theology without trying to make them fit together (Entwistle, 2010). The fifth and final paradigm is the Allies; this paradigm shows how both psychology and theology together embodies integration. Concrete Responses When I was about 7 I found out that I was adopted. When I found out I was on the playground and my classmates was teasing me about it. I never told my parents because I figured the little kids were lying. One day my family and I were doing some spring cleaning and I found my adoption papers. At that point I started to question my God because I could not understand why my real mommy and daddy did not want me. I cried myself to sleep each and every night.
