UIC Honors College has always been my ambition since the day I decided to go to college. One of the main reason to go to Honors College is because it gives me opportunity to work with Excellent Professor and also learning under their guidance is the prestige experience that I want to gain in my life. Not only that, by getting those need and merit based scholarships would help me fulfill my priority, to support my family financially. I want myself to be part of the leadership opportunities that the honors college offers. Moreover, being a constituent of the community that encourages the development of academic excellence helps me to gain important parts of my life that will be helpful in my future. Moving forwards,

In today’s society, a good quality education is an important and valuable necessity. As a college student at Lone Star College, my college experience has greatly influenced me in an enormous amount of ways. By attending college, I have not only had a chance to receive a quality education and degree, but also an opportunity to socialize and interact with various people from different cultures. In addition, the professors on campus have been extremely helpful towards teaching me to succeed in both inside and outside the class room. Furthermore, my college experience at Lone Star has greatly influenced and encouraged me to be successful and achieve my dream of becoming a doctor.

As the light of the setting sun shines through the stained glass windows of gold Star Hall, the names of Iowa State’s fallen alumni are illuminated giving the room a beautiful glow. The words spoken by Mr. Drinkwater combined with the architecture of the hall itself perfectly capture the sacrifice of the men and women who gave their lives for their country and the memories that are cherished by everyone who walks through the hall.

Sports Authority Field at Mile High, home of the Denver Broncos professional football team. A stadium filled full with 76,125 loud and dedicated fans. The atmosphere is intense when the stadium opens for the football game. The away team always goes on the field first. The stadium erupts in boos and a various amount of cuss words, some that I have never even heard before. The creativity of the fans is almost like an R- rated Shakespeare is inside them. The staff sets up an inflatable horse with smoke coming out the sides and fireworks bursting in the air above it. The Broncos come to the field and the noise from the cheering and yelling is almost enough to make you go deaf. It sends chills down your spine

The region has a rich history that goes back 300 years, where Spanish galleons replete with gold and silver, shipwrecked off the southeastern Florida shore, losing all their treasure to the deep waters. Treasure Coast provided pirates and smugglers with sanctuary during the 18th century. The Spanish explorers drove the first human inhabitants, the Timucuan Indians, from Treasure Coast, beginning with their arrival in 1528. By the 19th century, small communities began to appear as settler moved into the region. Today, the Treasure Coast is a unique mix of small town, laid-back, beautiful beach communities, and a popular family vacation destination.

In the kerfuffle over presidential candidate Ben Carson’s claim that he was admitted to West Point, the news media have pointed out that the “full scholarship” part of his story adds even more confusion because, as the New York Times story today put it, “Technically, West Point does not offer scholarships. It is free.”

My topic is on Six Flags, an amazing amusement park in St. Louis. This place has so much imagery located inside the park, here in a few moments I will explain. On my way to Six Flags we seen buildings, they were tall as a giant, people was crowding all around the buildings they all looked like clusters of itty-bitty ants because, they were so many, and also they were walking street to street, I also seen the Gateway Arch which was tall and you can see everything while you are in there, even the Cardinal’s Game, and hotels which have swimming pools on the top! I would really would love to have stayed in a hotel that had a swimming pool on the very top of the building..

In general terms, a champion is defined as someone who holds first place or wins first prize in a contest. Someone who is first, which means they have achieved the maximum amount of accomplishment available.They have exceeded all expectations, and they have won. Some say a champion is born, others believe they are bred. They are built and thus build themselves into the leaders they are destined to be. In response to the previous statement, who is worthy of being a champion? What does it take to be great? The theory of obtaining the title of champion has been dramatically changed within this basic interpretation. The Gather Inn is a small cozy bar and pub with pool tables and christmas lights. The interior is eclectic and warm. The Gather Inn is popular with locals who go to grab a drink or play a game of darts.

Rising Star, a cave system found in South Africa, is said to be the home of a new species of human. When scientists first heard the news that a discovery had been made, they reacted with awe and exasperation. Never before had there been a discovery of this monstrosity; more than a thousand bones had been discovered inside of Rising Star. Further research into the cave system has revealed that there is a possibility that Rising Star was a cemetery of sorts, which would support that the fossils belonged to a creature of higher-level thinking. Carol Ward, a University of Missouri paleoanthropologist, states that “it’s a stunning collection of bones, unlike any we’ve seen before,” However, despite the abundance of fossils found within the cave, the age of the fossils have yet to be identified.
