Unlike a elementary and middle school career, the four years in high school will be some of the most important years of a students life. These four years will determine what collage a student will get into, scholarships, or what jobs they could get. So pay attention! Alot of students think their freshman year doesn't matter, but the truth is it the most important year. Most students don't understand that all four years go towards their final GPA. If they fail a class they may get to redo it the next year, however the failing grade will count on your permanent record.
High school is one of the most important things to a student's life. It is the foundation
Although we become stronger once we go through though times that makes us who we are today. High School isn't my favorite place in world, but it also isn't my least favorite. These four years is what helps us grow up to
From happy moments to sad moments, from having the best time to falling asleep in class. Middle school was also a place for change. As Robin Sharma once stated, “Change is hard at first, messy in the middle and gorgeous at the end.” High school will definitely bring many changes in our lives. At first, everything may be difficult but, as each year goes by you will quickly realize that you are capable of handling it because, you know at the end of the day everything will be
Early College High Schools (ECHS) are innovative high schools that allow students least likely to attend college an opportunity to earn a high school diploma and 60 college credit hours. Early College High Schools:
Ninth Grade is not the most important year of high school, you can do much better if the first year of high school didn’t go so well and you can boost your grade up by catching up. Senior year is more important since seniors often have the freedom to take more specialized high school classes, like electives, and can take advantage of AP and other challenging top-level courses. Although they have that freedom to choose their classes, without the learning experience of how to fit in. I have gotten this information from a cite that explains the importance of High school. Junior year was full of many new experiences. We were now classified as upper classmen! Just like any of the other years in high school this year had just as many ups and downs. One of the main stresses in eleventh grade was the SAT. For sure one of the scariest things that I have ever had to do. All of the preparation going into it and the amount of studying made me feel as if I wasn’t going to have a brain by the time the testing was over. I took college and career readiness, which really helped prepare me for what was to come. By this time in high school I had already had my job for a little over a month, so I already knew what to expect once school started. I am thankful enough that at my job you get to leave at seven because I hear many
9th grade year is the most important in high school in my opinion. 9th grade year determines if you will drop out or not. I believe how you start off high school is how you will conclude high school.
Many people say that high school should be the best four years of your life. Most of us entered high school with this idea in mind, determined to enjoy every second of it. The confidence and energy that we held that first September allowed us to dive right into what has been an amazing four
Entering high school is the beginning of a whole new learning experience. Transitioning from middle school, high school presents more classes, students, and a bigger campus. It brings new expectations and responsibilities to each of us. High school also offers fresh chances to make new friends, try new sports and activities, and really explore who we are as individuals. The goal is to maintain good grades, score high on the SAT test, and keep a positive attitude so colleges and universities will accept you. Of course it's not as easy at sounds, but it's achievable. It requires a lot of work and dedication to every subject. Some students breeze their way through while others live in misery trying to pass their
Although the first year of high school is a big transition, it’s crucial in determining the remaining years of high school because, First, having good grades will determine whether or not you get accepted the university you want and there are more opportunities for scholarships. Second, joining a club in high school will give you an insight in leadership and teamwork. Third, Slacking of your freshman year in high school is a bad thing to do because it will affect your senior year and all the classes you missed or failed, you will have to retake all of them. Lastly, all of these factors all come into play your senior year they can either help you or make your high school years miserable. First, having good grades in your freshman year will open up the doors to more opportunities coming your way. My freshman year wasn't the best I got D's and C's and almost failed two classes. Laziness played a big factor in why I got bad grades I was lazy to do homework and any projects. I had some advice from my cousin’s they would always tell me not to mess up freshman year, but, I ignored them and you start to pay for it senior year by retaking all those classes you failed. To get better grades I set up a planner and wrote down due dates and set up a time organizer at home and this helped me better organize my time to do the work. My advice to all new freshmen is to set up a work schedule for your work it will better your studying habits and make you aware of due dates and the time you
Fourth through sixth grade, I learned quickly the curriculum was a little more challenging than the first four years of school. There were many changes in school just within these three years. I was learning many new things, things were becoming more challenging. One thing I can say about these years is, I had two of the best teachers anyone could ever ask for. My fourth and sixth grade teacher made me enjoy coming to school. My fourth grade teacher made my fourth grade year one of the best a child could ask for.
High School is a time when many teenagers get into trouble and have many conflicts and struggles. Without all of the struggles, high school is supposed to be four terrific years. There are many struggles for teens like peer pressure, managing your time, fitting in, and many more. Most high schoolers will get pressured by their peers at some point and can cause some serious problems. About fifty-five percent of students play a high school sport on top of having a job, keeping your grades up, and just overall having fun, which can be very hard to do. During High school, students are going to want to not be themselves and want to fit in without being judged by their peers. High school should be a time for you to have some great years in your
The time in high is what will make my character and change how i see the world. The real lessons are learned in high school and in the job world so the next two years i need to learn it all so i can be prepped for the world ahead of
Once a child graduates from elementary school and goes on to high school, he or she is already molded into the person he or she will be for the rest of his or her life. Sure all kids become more mature within those four years, but their values are still the same, and in some cases even stronger. In most circumstances, a child will use what they learned in the past to make decisions inhe future. High school, however, is important for other reasons as well. High school is the very last step before a student can enter the realm of higher education. Therefore, high school is essentially what prepares a student to go on to bigger and better things. High school is where
Yet, the education does not stop at middle school, for high school really puts all the basic skills from elementary and middle school to work as the assignments and the exams become more challenging. We do not only learn about reading, writing, history, and math, we learn about the people around us as we associate with different personalities, and as we see what we have grown up to be and what we want to be later in life. Accordingly, the high school years are a time when teachers emphasize the importance of graduating and attending college in order to have a “succesful future.”
