Due to the 401st AFSBn-KU being primarily contractor driven. Any TMRs scheduled from LOT 26 on Sunday morning must be scheduled for 0100 instead of 0400, unless the requirement is a few pieces. This weekend the contractor had so many pieces to lift that they ended up working 2 hours overtime which wasn't authorized. Note: Their regular day off is from Sunday 0745 returning to work on 0700 Monday. The remainder of the week is no issue because we have 24 hour operations. Thanks

Florida’s construction defect statutes, F.S. 558.001 was created to set up procedures to reduce the caseload and resulting costs to the state for the Florida Courts. In 2003, a statutory procedure was put in place requiring residential construction owners to meet certain requirements before they could be entitled to file a lawsuit or a demand for arbitration due to construction defects. The requirements included a notice of defect and opportunity to cure procedure. Later, in 2006, the statute was amended again to include all construction and not just residential.
Denise is on vacation August 29th thru September 2nd. I don’t know if Julie mentioned to you, if Kim could cover some of her shifts. Please let me know if any these hours work because I’m working on the schedule now for that
Today for my service learning project I headed over to Pulaski County to volunteer with the Habitat for Humanity to help build houses. The trip to Pulaski took about forty-five minutes as the I-81 was calm. Upon arriving at the work site, I took it upon myself to get acquainted with the supervisor currently present. After all that was said and done, I was instructed by a fellow volunteer to pick up a tool belt, some nails and a hammer. The first task that was asked of me was to hammer in some nails on the frame of the house. This task was simple as the places where I needed to hammer were clearly marked. The
Superior’s current policy of seven vacation days and five sick days a year for the employees is not ideal for emergencies and for an unscheduled occurrence that may require the employee to take a day off. The policy, as written right now, does not give Joan Jackson enough time to properly staff the areas when an employee calls the morning of shift and states he/ she cannot make it to work today. Right now, employees are using sick days to whatever his/ her need is that day, which is more than likely not in regards to the employee being sick. When an employee calls off the morning of work, without any prior knowledge, it will affect the entire company and will make it hard to cover that shift. Also, if more than one employee of that same
In addition, during the four days they have off, they may feel weak and dazed so they will not be able to work a second part-time job if wanted or be with their loved-ones. After working that many hours in such a short period of time, they would need those four days off to compensate for the hard work they just endured.
A number of local businesses, like Vectren, allow some employees to take the morning off so they can volunteer.
Next week the shop will be lightly staffed, as many are taking time off for Thanksgiving.
On federal holidays, the company will take volunteers to work. Management will mandate employees tow work on their holidays if there is too little involvement. When the company advances the mail it allows our
