A high school diploma is important in my future because, it will open doors for me in life. With earning my diploma I could apply to colleges to continue my education and have a good career, it says a lot about a person. Meaning that you are well educated even if you don't go college. When I graduated high school I had no idea what I wanted to do, all I knew is I was done with public school and could live my life as what I thought an adult was. My father and most of my family believed it was important for me to go to college, and get a kick start with my life. Though they weren’t wrong, I had no idea what I wanted to do and no discipline to do my studies to the full extent of my abilities.

Going to college will give you more knowledge and a better mindset on life. College will keep me out of jail and the streets. College would set my life for good because later on in life when I major in engineering I’m going to start my own business. College is going to help me make enough money to move me and my little brother out the hood into a better life. It will also show the people who down talk me saying that I wasn’t good enough to attend

I know that I will not have as many struggles in the future if I complete college now. For one, I will have a better paying job and my finances will be more stable and higher. I will have my own career so I will no longer have to ask someone how much to spend. That all together will give me more independence. When adding these two together it will equal an easier and secure life. Going through college is not an easy process but in the long run it pays off more than what people think. In my quality world I want independence, a nice house, and to have my own income. I want to graduate with a bachelors in Business Administration so later on I can manage a retail department or a company project. Having freedom with all my decisions, but most importantly live my life to the fullest without having to worry about budgeting all the time. I would like to be in a low stress environment and be around wise

With a college education will I not only be more mature, but I will be better financially stabled. I will be able to provide for myself and my family in the future. I will be able to pay back my college loans which is showing me responsibility and I will also have the opportunity to one day open up my day care. “However, statistics from the St. Joseph School District show that 52 percent of children enter the public school system not prepared for kindergarten. By the end of second grade, 42 percent of students are reading below their grade level” (Snapp, 2012) .Children are our future. One day these generations of children will be the ones in charge of the world. We all want our kids to have the best education available and to be able to not only graduate high school, but to graduate from college. In our economy we stress the importance of having an education. So shouldn’t a child’s education should start while they are toddlers. My day care will be a place, where you can leave your children and not worry about them sitting in front of a television all day. I will be helping these children get ready for Kindergarten, where they will be learning but also enjoying their childhood. In the economy that we live in people are always having children, therefore, I will always have a job. It is no longer enough to have a High School Diploma to get a job. You now need your Bachelor’s Degree and sometimes even your Master’s Degree depending on the job that you are trying to get.

Many people view their future in many different ways, and some do not think about their future at all. Some envision a life with kids, and others only live in the moment. Everyone’s future should include a job, or some sort of work after high school. Continuing schooling and getting a job is optional, although very important. I believe that a four-year college is very important to my future. Having a degree will help you achieve your dream job and other future goals. Some other future goals could be to make enough money to support your future family. A degree also gives you the satisfaction of knowing that you have the ability to work toward something and earn it.

My long-term goals is to make something of my life, to be in a job that it is not just about the money but about helping people. I’ve hated injustice, when criminals hurt people I always wish that I would have been there to save the victim. When I go to ASU I want to study to be in the justice system like the Police, FBI, etc. There I hope to be what I’ve wanted to be since I was very little, a hero and make my family and God proud. However, I also want to help myself as well and my family not just victims. I want to build a business so that from the money I get from it and from my job in the justice system, I can live in a beautiful home in Mexico. I don’t wish to stay in the U.S for long, just long enough to complete my dreams of joining my dream

My academic goal is to finish school with a bachelor’s of electrical engineering and continue on to a master’s degree. My career goal is to have a stable yet fulfilling engineering job. My father was my greatest inspiration in going into the engineering fields. My father is an aircraft maintenance technician specializing in turbine engines for Delta Air Lines. My father would come home and talk about his day like any father would except his jargon was a bit harder to understand with acronyms like APU (auxiliary power unit) coming up regularly and with hydraulics a big time operation to him. I have a passion to go to college and plan to get my masters in psychology. I want to help other victims of abuse like me to overcome their struggles and find joy in life again. Knowing that my education can get me to a degree that can help others to find happiness in a dark situation is what drives me to work my hardest and gives me the determination to reach the goals I set.

My first goal is to graduate high school. I know that I need to graduate high to get my diploma. I want to graduate high school so that I can go to college. Without goal's you are going to have no direction, no ambition to be successful, no drive to stay in school, and trouble finding a career that will provide for you. Without these three things, achieving your goals is going to be one of the toughest tasks in the years to come.

As Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, a French author, once said, "A goal without a plan is just a wish." I have many dreams as of right now, twelve years old. However, with these dreams, I'm not going to get anywhere without setting a goal and creating a plan to reach that. I have three main goals, one personal, educational, and one in which I want to do in life. First, my personal goal is to stay in touch with all of my friends. Secondly, an educational goal of mine is to go to one of my top three colleges. Lastly, one of the things I want to do in life is to write a book. In order to achieve my goals, I have to stay on track on the path to it. I also must remember no matter how hard the path gets, I shouldn't give up.
