5th Wave Movie Analysis

Of all the movies I have seen over the years "The Notebook" is my all-time favorite. Normally, I wouldn't have picked that genre because I am not a fan of romantic movies. However, the story line is so genuine and passionate from the beginning to the end that it captured my heart instantly.

For my quarter project I have decided to watch a Spanish movie. The movie that I have chosen is called Rec, (short for record) filmed in 2007. The movie is a horror film about the zombie apocalypse, but instead of the apocalypse already happening it shows how it was discovered/started. The film takes place in Spain, and is like a fictional documentary. It is filmed with a hand held camera, but does have high quality. I like that my project was something that I love to do. Which is, watching scary movies!

The film “All That Jazz” had no dull moments; everything on screen is extremely detailed, from the choreography down to the placement of props. Watching this film makes you feel as if you are in the shoes of Joe Gideon while also noticing the small details the director places on screen. There are many people who believe that the films close attention to mise-en-scene takes the viewer away from its plot. The opening scene is a perfect example of the director using details on screen to deeply involve the viewers while also introducing the main plot. In the film, “ Signs “, there are various strange things happening to a family in a midwest town. It is not long until the whole town realizes that it is being invaded by a pestilence of extraterrestrials. When a farmer named, “ Graham Hess”, sees that there are a pattern circles and lines carved in his crops, he starts to investigate the mystery. Little by little he discovers something that would forever change the lives of him and his family, when a pestilence of aliens invades the small town.

The Graduate was created to capture the social dilemma of the late 1960s and to criticize the consumer culture and its negative impact on the younger generation. Since the older generation grew up with the mentality that money will lead to happiness, they try to instill those same beliefs into their children. This caused anxiety and distress among several young adults regarding their futures. Benjamin Braddock, a confused twenty-one year old, has recently graduated from college and now he is unsure what to do next. His parents are expecting great things from him, but Benjamin does not want to go down the typical path created by his affluent family and their friends.

The concept of ambition is something that people always think about. It is a driving force that enables us to achieve our aspirations, motivating us to work hard and anticipate a bright future. However, excessive ambition can be detrimental to our overall happiness and success. While striving towards our goals is vital, we must maintain balance and acknowledge our limitations. Pursuing ambition helps us gain a deeper understanding of our desires and objectives, enabling us to strive for excellence and reach our full potential.

The movie that I have chosen for this assignment is the movie Radio. The reason why I pick this movie is because it is one on my favorite movies of all time and the main character suffers from a mental disorder. It does not say for what the mental disorder is but I believe it is a form of Autism. Another reason why I picked this movie is because I have had multiple friends that are suffering with Autism and they have the same problems as the character has in the movie. This movie takes place in the 70s in the south so being different was a problem back in that time. The cancellation of the television series, Frequency, was premature and prevented it from fully blossoming into the hit it could have been. The series follows a young woman named Raimy Sullivan, a detective of the New York Police Department. Raimy and her father begin to communicate across time with a ham radio and alter the past. Because of this, problems arise that they must repair. The series, which aired on the CW, added some well deserved suspense that the film was lacking. The series also transitioned from a male leading role to a female, played by Peyton List. In the film Frequency, Frank Sullivan is portrayed as a firefighter, but in the series Frank is a detective much like his daughter. There was almost no romance in the film, but in the series it is a large part of Raimy’s life that she must fix due to changing the past. The series was an upgrade from the original film and should not have been cancelled as early as it did.

A 2011 American Action Film directed by Justin Lin. The movie was written by Chris Morgan. The movie is the 5th film for The Fast and Furious Series. It was first released in Australia on April 20, 2011 and then later released in the United States on April 29, 2011. Cinematography for the movie was put together by Stephen F. Winden. The film was distributed by Universal Pictures.

The first wave knocked out all of the power, then the 2nd wave hit. I Zac Fearon watched the 5th wave and will be reviewing the movie. This movie I watched was in the movie theaters during February of 2016, almost one year ago. I only watched this movie one time but it was still the best movie I had ever seen. The 5th Wave trailer is why I watched this movie. My friend also told me that he really enjoyed it.

There are a whole bunch of movies that I like. But only one can be my favorite. If I could choose a good movie to be my favorite, it would probably be Jurassic World. Jurassic World is a good movie because it has a lot of action and mystery in it and because it has good actors that bring out the movie in it. Here are some more reasons about why I really like this movie.

There are many qualities of a good movie. My favorite movie of all time is The Blind Side. That movie is awesome! The qualities that made the movie awesome are, funny, sometimes sad, happy, and I also liked it because there was some football involved in the movie. Some movies that are similar to The Blind Side are Undefeated and When the Game Stands Tall.

My favorite movie is war horse, because it 1. Has horses in it and horses are my favorite animal, 2. The movie is very detailed and doesn't skip scenes to where you have no idea what is going on now. The movie has a lot of action and love between a young man and his horse. The movie starts out with action and ends with love the best qualities of a good movie to me. I love movies with horses or wild west themed. Another one of my all time favorite movies is Lonesome Dove. it's a very long movie that takes place in the old west, this movie is mostly about a promise made between two friends and the love of a women. They go on a long cattle drive, encounter indians, and cross rivers on horseback. This movie, again, begins with action and ends
