September 11, 2001 is a day you’ll always remember. It didn’t just destroyed the World Trade center and killed people inside and near it, it also destroyed people who were even 200 miles away because they have lost one of their loved ones. I was just a little girl when this happened but seeing all the documentaries makes me feel like I was there and feel the emotions by just watching. This was a terrorist attack carried by Muslims, though we should never use this against Islam. I don’t know how someone could ever murder such an amount of people. Two planes were flown into the World Trade Center with 20,000 gallons of jet fuel without it being an accident. 18 minutes after the first plane hit in the North Tower, as second plane came in and

Throughout the years there are events that stay with you, and the date September 11, 2001 is one of them. The event changed the lives of not just the people whose loved ones died on that day, but also of those who belonged to the Islamic world. The experience of Muslims who lived in America in 2001 and those who were yet to come here would never be the same again. After 9/11, the number of hate crimes against Muslims in the United States increased and their everyday lives changed forever due to the rise of islamophobia and the vicious influence of the American media.
