It was a cold Autumn day. The sun was shining very bright even though it was 14 degrees out. The trees were swaying back and forth and back and forth. Nina and Derek just got out of school and were heading towards the street that Derek's grandmas house. Nina is a very curious girl for her age. “Did you notice that they're-paved the road,” Derek says, breaking the silence. “Yah, I notice that, it's pretty clear Derek…. How come they didn't re-pave Elm street?” “You didn't hear the story?” “No what story now?” “7 years ago, there was a young man with his young beautiful girlfriend. They were expecting a baby boy. But, in the middle of the night a clown came in and killed the girlfriend. The young man was so depressed that he hung himself by the ceiling fan in the bedroom where his family died. I heard that he haunts the place and whoever disturbs him, will get hung themselves.” …show more content…
“It's true, if you don't believe me go check it out.” “Fine, I will,” she says with a sassy pose. “I was joking, Nina...Come back!”
Nina races on the unpaved road. Derek runs after her, trying to catch up. “Wait up!” “You're going to have to catch me!”
Derek and Nina were running all the way to the end of the dead end. “There it is…” Derek says with a voice crack. “Yup… you ready for this!” Nina says with excitement. “Wait….. you were serious?” “Come on, stop being a baby and let's go already!” Nina walks on the crooked pathway, which really wasn't one. It was mostly filled with bugs and green moss. Derek quickly follows, right behind Nina. “Are you sure you want to do
He opens his eyes to see a slate white room. He turns his head to see a colossal amount of many different flowers. He hears a beeping beside the bed he is laying in. Then, he feels a rush of excruciating pain throughout his entire body. Suddenly, he feels as if somebody is tearing off his leg. He frantically yanks off the white sheets to reveal his a stub leg. He attempted to let out a scream but no air could come out. Finally, his mother runs in with decaying tissues in her hand and red puffy eyes. “Oh Derek!” she exclaims while thrusting him into her arms causing shocks of pain to circulate his body. “They said you might not wake up. Thank you! Thank you! Don’t worry it will be okay. Everything will be okay.” However, Derek didn’t believe anything she said. Nothing at that moment seemed okay. Derek closes his eyes hoping that if he fell asleep he could escape
“Not too sure but, we need to get home soon, it already dark,” said Sergio.
Obtrusively, the thunder bellowed outside and the roaring sound filled the small room like rock music to a broken soul.Amongst the thunder, raindrops could be seen ebbing down the windowsill forming undecipherable miniscule shapes and later sinking down in the wall to gather at the edge.
It was just for one night, thought she as she closed the window. The wind is howling and the rain is conducting a symphony of drums against the glass. She turns around and starts walking across the room, the white carpet is soft underneath her bare feet, as she walks to her chair, fixing up her mess of long, beautiful black hair into a messy bun. She has the hair of a Disney princess and the school thought she's one of the most beautiful girls in the entire class, with eyes of ice and a heart of gold. Underneath the mountain of clothes she has yet to put away she finds a towel and hands it to Roman. He takes it from her, their hands lightly touch and he flashes that million dollar, white as snow smile. His dad must be drinking again. Why else
“Did you get a close look at him? Did you notice something, distinct about his appearance?” Detective Johnson asked.
William felt sick as he scrambled off his seat and frantically searched the area for cover. He could clearly hear the thumps of dead bodies hitting the deck, just as he could hear the drip drip drip of Michel’s blood as it hit the floor. In the corner of his eye, he could see the powder monkey trampled on the floor. There was no honor for the dead in the midst of a battle. He needed a hiding spot., something, anything! If he could just find a place to hide and wait out the battle…
His jaw had been slack since he'd fist showed up outside Rowan's window. He'd been talking about things that Rowan didn't understand, things he probably didn't either. Jack had a soft look on his face, one that didn't suit him. He still couldn't manage to look peaceful.
Jolted awake by the light shining directly in her face, Casey opened her eyes to find Ray leaning on one elbow staring at her as she slept. Twisting his wrist, she checked the time on his watch. “We’re late. Why didn’t you wake me?”
He stopped; footsteps stunned into silence. His face was drawn; his cheeks sunken. The red stain of his shadow faded as the horizon devoured the sun, engulfing him in darkness. The moon rose higher and the stars came out one by one, their celestial dance glittering in the dissipating clouds. His eyes began to adjust to the darkened surroundings as he took one last glance behind him. In that moment he knew he was leaving his past for good.
“Hello” I shout. “Anybody there” I yell into the darkness. My voice echoes far into the darkness of the world beyond. I don’t know where I am, and I don’t know who I am. Each day I sit here calling out into the dark hoping to see the light. I am trapped. I travel each and every hour searching for light or a means to escape this perilous abyss. I wait for the light to reappear each day, small slivers of light at first. But, eventually the bright gleaming rays of light pierce the abyss.
It is a clear afternoon, nice and calm, but it is still dusty. My Ma and Pa was trying their best to gain money however it doesn't work out well overall. I sitting in my chair seeing nothing but random winds with dust. Then I suddenly jumped up. A roaring black wave of death came rushing toward me as if it wanted my soul.
“Sorry, It’s my first time on a date, so I don’t know what to say, sorry” I apologise.
A panicked yelp rang out in the distance, followed by a screech of tires. The women continued walking, only a few casting a wondering glance towards the noise. The church bell was ringing, merry as we exited the church and the wind blew gently. My mother and father engaged the locals in conversation, eager to know more about the island we were on, Nui Tapu Tapu, a place only really known because of the tsunami damage it took on in September 2009. “What is that?” I asked my mother, as I pointed to two men dragging something black behind them. Yet before she could answer, I figured it out for myself. A strange pit formed in my stomach as I watched them drag a young dog behind them. “That must have been what caused the screech earlier.” My mother
It was a Saturday morning. I was exhausted from last night’s party so I decided to sleep in. It had only been about 5 minutes after I decided I would sleep longer when my mom called.
Derek assembles the family in the room while Seth is left outside waiting to get something to eat. He tells them that he is planning to move them out of the area so they can make a new start. Derek
