Alfred Mercier once said, “What we learn with pleasure we never forget.” This quote reveals the importance of how learning something we like with pleasure would often teach us something rather than just feeding anything in our mind. Similarly, the video of “Guy Kawasaki: The Top 10 Mistakes of Entrepreneurs” was a great learning experience for me. Usually, watching a video about business can be boring since there are not fun and exciting videos that can be watched. Instead, after watching this video I learned a lot more about entrepreneurs and how they face the real world. Since, I am majoring in business myself receiving advices from successful individuals becomes a great learning experience for myself that will always be with me when I am going to become a business women. In the video, Guy Kawasaki a marketing executive in Silicon Valley and former Apple employ exhibits the mistakes that entrepreneurs are likely to make revealing the importance of how to avoid them.

Entrepreneurs are risk takers in the market. They are willing to gamble their hard work for a business that may fail or succeed. Many fail to keep their business alive, however; others are lucky to compete and survive in the market. The entrepreneur is commonly seen as a business leader and innovator of new ideas and business processes.
The following essay will describe my personal interpretation of the Entrepreneurship Forum, conducted on October 16, 2015 at California State University, Monterey Bay. The forum focused on four specific speakers and their journey as entrepreneurs. The below paragraphs will describe the general emphasis of each speakers entrepreneurial story, including the challenges and rewards from their experiences. The paper will then conclude with the lessons I found most important, and whether or not the speaker’s stories have made me more inclined to be an entrepreneur.
Taking this entrepreneur course has been the best thing I could do for myself. Not only did it grow my mindset, but it taught me how to focus and concentrate on meeting my goals. At the beginning of this semester I could not let go the negative self-image I had of myself. Since I have been able to reflect on who I am I am slowly able to let go of that past image. I now know that I am more than able to reach my goals with the proper mindset and skills. I have come a long way since the beginning of this course. At the beginning of this course we were asked what is most important in life, and when I chose myself I knew after that reflections that I was off to a great start. Putting myself first these last few months has been the best thing I
