One of the most fascinating professions is automotive engineering,it 's all about shaping the future. Automotive engineering is many different things, taking ideas, putting them on paper and making them work. From daily driving fuel efficiency to cornering a 100 mph in a rally race. This involves smart men and women that want to make an impact in the world. I would like to get in the automotive engineering field . It 's a great fit for me because i love cars, i 'm that type of guy that can tell you the year, make, and model of the car just by looking at it.I don 't discriminate because like paul walker once said “i appreciate them all”. What you drive makes you who you are. Rally racing has been a dream of …show more content…
and how has it impacted us? I 'm eighteen years old, and like many other guys my age all we think about and talk about is cars. I am a car enthusiast, i love JDM ima fan Performance cars from japan. Rally racing, drifting, and drag racing is the best! Like i said my cousin and other family members drag race trucks in the sand, i 've grown up seeing that and lot of people go out to see it, My dad has never really been into cars so i grew the love here in the united states by myself. Movies like fast and furious or shows like initial D have hooked me into cars. I want to help the world make performance cars. Faster, Stronger! That 's what i like. When i began doing this senior project i knew it had to be about cars i was excited to get started. To be where we are today in the car world someone had to invent some form of car or transportation. It would take the brain of a mastermind, a genius! So who invented the car? It 's actually not that simple there were many inventors and engineers but the credit goes to one man. Karl Benz, yes the founder of mercedes benz! In 1885 he created the first gasoline car powered by an internal combustion engine, I mean it was a tiny car only a one or two passenger car. It had three wheels, kinda looked like a bike. Had a high speed single cylinder with an amazing
The career I have chosen is an Automotive Service Technician. Just to make sure everyone understands; an Automotive Service Technician is the proper term for a mechanic. Automotive service technician are the people that repair your cars and keeping them running properly through-out the life of that car. In this career you will need the right schooling and cannot jump the gun.
Henry Ford, a man of smarts, did not invent the car. Many people think that he did. His own company manufactured the first car; the car was model A, in 1903. By 1906 his company had manufactured the model N. The company made a tremendous accomplishment
Automobile engineering has been evolving and improving throughout time, therefore, we are able to make automobiles cheaply and efficiently. The person credited with inventing
The invention of the automobile dates all the way back to the mid 18th century with the development of the first steam powered automobile by Nicolas-Joseph Cugnot. As time went on in history other types of automobiles were developed to enhance the transportation system in the United States. The cost to develop all these different types of automobiles over the years was very expensive, which caused the cost to purchase any type of automobile to be too expensive as well. At first it was a luxury type item, that only the rich and powerful could own because many could not afford to purchase any types of automobiles developed at the time. It was not until the early 20th century, when Henry Ford and Ford Motor Company changed the way of transportation
Cars were suppose to have a big impact on the United States of America. Towards the end of the 1800’s it was perfected in Germany and France by some men. Their names are Nicolaus Otto, gottlieb Daimler, Carl Benz, and Emile Levassor.
“It’s all fun and games till someone gets hurt,” is something I have heard constantly ever since my hot wheel days. Now as I have grown into a young adult cars are something I eat, breath, and dream about cars. As I got older, I constantly am modifying and making sure my car is always clean as glass. I enjoy being around cars, there is always the jeopardies of being a car enthusiast are always being annoyingly cautious of cars, having constant money issues, and also getting into trouble.

German inventors Gottlieb Daimler and Karl Benz built the first gasoline- powered automobiles in the mid- 1800’s. For years many tried to build them as well. One of these enthusiastic people was Henry Ford. Ford wanted to make a car that was lighter, faster, and cheaper than any other car made by anyone else.

In the 1800s the development of the battery and the electric motor led to the first electric vehicles on the road. It is hard to pinpoint the invention of the electric car to just one inventor or country so several inventors have been given credit for the invention of the electric car. A Hungarian named Anyos Jedlik invented a small model car powered by an electric motor in 1828. And roughly between the years of 1832 and 1839, Robert Anderson of Scotland invented a crude electric carriage. Also in 1835 Professor Stratingh of Groningen, Holland built another small electric car with his assistant Christopher Becker. There was another inventor named Thomas
Since the development of the steam engine people had been interested in creating self-powered vehicles, this manifested during the industrial revolution as the train. However, as time went on people became interested in creating a vehicle that wasn’t confined to tracks. The earliest attempts were moderately successful but served little practical purpose. Automobiles first began to truly spread with the invention of the electric motor which created cheaper, more powerful, and safer automobiles. Still the automobile still had numerous problems and were mainly in the hands of the rich. It was the development of the internal combustion engine and the assembly line that was truly able to create a practical vehicle that could be used by all and

“ You have to look for teachers. If you want to be a mechanic, go hang out with mechanics.” (“Robert Kiyosaki”). Being a mechanic doesn't just happen overnight, one will need some experience and some type of education. If somebody knows anybody who is a mechanic, one should have them teach some of the information they know. For example, being a mechanic is a hands on job. One will need to know how to use certain tools and procedures in order to be successful. A mechanic will be doing all around the car jobs, either diagnosing and/ or replacing/ repairing the vehicle. Being a mechanic is a solid career choice because one will always have job security, a mechanic will get paid a great salary and benefits, and one will
The need for cheap and efficient means of travel coupled with the development of motor vehicles has seen a rapid growth in the automotive industry. The automotive industry encompasses all the companies and activities involved in the manufacture of motor vehicles, including most components, such as engines and bodies (Encyclopædia Britannica, 2014). Even though much of the manufacturing nowadays is done by robots, computers and machines, the strongest and most luxurious vehicles are still considered to be the ones that have had the most human involvement and effort applied on them. This makes simple tools such as the cordless hand drill necessitous in the entire process because of their wide range of uses and applications which will be further discussed in this report. Hand drills today, are used in almost every industry that involves assembling individual components to make a complete structure however, this report will focus on the design of a cordless hand drill specifically for the automotive industry.
Mechanical engineering is an applied discipline which is based on related natural and technical science and combined with technical experience from production practice, aiming to research and solve both theoretical and practical problems in machine’s design, exploitation, fabrication, application and maintenance.
