Chemical Technicians work in labs and factories and are responsible for monitoring chemical processes and testing different chemical products. They do different tasks, such as analyzing data, preparing reports, and presenting their conclusions. They do lab work and perform complicated analyses. Some technicians clean and replace filters. Chemical technicians also set up apparatus for chemical reactions.
Some Chemical Technicians assist senior researchers, but many technicians work independently. Chemical Technicians work in many parts of the chemical process industry and work for industrial companies. They measure water and air samples to monitor pollution, using different chemicals and equipment. They are constantly in contact with many
In this career your job is to keep things clean and in working condition. You also do general maintence like changing oils, checking for leaks etc. I also like how there are jobs that are like very basic such as changing oils, but at the same there are also some very complex jobs, like rebuilding a motor would be one of the more complex jobs.
Secondly, diesel technicians are responsible for the following tasks: inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, transmissions, engines, and other parts of vehicles. They also do routine maintenance such as changing oil, checking batteries and lubricating equipment and parts (Trulity).
Module Nine: Lab Questions Your first lab link can be found at Forensic Drug Chemistry. 1. Why is chemical analysis used in forensic science? It's use so on any cases the evidence that was submitted at the lab that it was detected and we can help find out the types of illegal drugs, and helped the law enforcements officers or others stop offenders.
These people may not splint broken bones, give shots, or give medications, but these people help with all other areas of the healthcare industry. I chose this field to talk about because my uncle, Martin Slone, works at Pikeville Medical Center as a Radiologist Technician. What is a Radiologist Technician? A Radiologist Technician is a person who uses different types of machines to take pictures of the insides of bodies. These pictures can help doctors see if someone is injured or has something wrong with different parts of the body.
Help enforce new laws enacted by the government about new chemicals and of their effects
It is fascinating how changing a few letters in a word can create an entirely different meaning to the words. Who do we call a Technologist or Technician? In the healthcare field, these words have easily been interchanged simply because in many labs and practices, everybody does everything, as far as they are qualified to work in a lab. However, there are clear and distinct differences between a Technologist and Technician.
MRI Technicians also known as a radiologic technician, give image scans on patients to produce quality images of designated areas of the body. Becoming a MRI Technician isn’t a hard process but finding a place to work may be a challenge. The following information will show you how to achieve your goal of becoming a MRI Technician, or maybe you just wanna know the steps to becoming one.
A radiologist technician, also known as a radiographers, performs diagnostic imaging examinations such as x-rays, MRI, and CT scans on patients. Radiologist perform medical imaging on injuries such as broken bones, dislocated joints, torn muscles and diseases (Occupational Outlook Handbook). Then they use the radiographic imaging to diagnose the patient with the injury they may have. As a radiologist technician, you start out performing x-ray on patients. To advance in this career you would advance to performing CT scans and MRIs

There are many careers that you can become with a chemistry degree, such as a pharmacologist and learn how drugs are properly used for or even a toxicologist who research potential harm caused by chemical to help establish regulations to protect the public. Chemistry relates to everything we touch, see, smell, hear, and taste because atoms make up everything in the universe. Chemistry influences so much in our everyday lives that it is hard to think of an activity that does not involve a chemical process in some way. The science also plays a major role in the human body. Our bodies are made up of chemicals, in fact almost 96% of our body mass is made up of four different elements: hydrogen, oxygen, carbon, and nitrogen. Besides the physical way I am affected by elements, chemistry also majorly affects me in my line of work as a certified nursing assistant. As a certified nursing assistant I work in a nursing home and

The history of lab technicians can be dated back to the same time as medicine actually maybe even a little earlier. The ancient Greeks, “saw the value in examining body fluids to determine a disease”(Berger 1). Because they saw this is part of the reason that Lab Technician’s exist today. The beginning of this history can be dated back to “1658 with Jan Swammerdam’s discovery of red blood corpuscles”(Career Research). Coming along with another great accomplishment was, “Robert Koch and Louis Pasteur discovery in bacteriology in the 1870s”(Career Research). These discoveries have helped us overcome boundaries in the twentieth centuries and discover so much more than we already know. “In 1928 Alexander Fleming discovered Penicillin in his lab
