A Career As A NBA/Athlete

I would like to be a basketball manager and I think I would make a good one because of my good attitude and my ability to adapt. Throughout my life I have always loved the sport basketball, however I wasn’t the best at playing it. Therefore, being a basketball manager would be fun for me because I would get to learn a lot about the sport itself and also the managing aspects of it. I would also like to be a manager because it would give me something to do and be a part of after school. Lastly, I would like to be a manager because it would be a fun activity to do and I could talk to my friends as the other managers and as the players on the team.

Everyone has their dreams and aspirations of what they want to be. The profession I plan to go into is the medical field. I am passionate about this because it feels great to help someone. Whenever a person is in need, it should be an instinct to help them and this is the main reason I am wanting to become a doctor. Every time I am sick I go to the doctor and they are able to help me get better. In a couple of days my sickness would be gone and I would be so happy and thankful that the doctor was able to assist me. This inspired me to become a doctor because once they finished their prognosis it makes the person feel so much better. Since I volunteer in a hospital over the weekends, usually discharging patients or delivering flowers it helps me see an aspect of what it would be like to work as a doctor. Communicating with patients and nurses has shown me it is a pleasure to help others.

With basketball completely out of the equation, my quintessential career path would be to become some sort of counselor. Before jumping to conclusions assuming a counselor is someone who just sits back with a pen and notepad all day giving the occasional “how does that make you feel”, a lot of things need to be taken into consideration about how much time, and effort and strenuous work is required to pursue this career path. A counselor (depending on what field) is typically someone who uses therapeutic techniques to help patients strengthen existing qualities and skills used in everyday life. Ideally I would like to become a school counselor to begin coping with the minds of the youth, then hopefully move on from there. In order to do so

The career of being a NBA basketball player in the 80’s and 2000’s. It was a lot different back in the day, the fouls were different, the uniforms, and courts. Todays game is less physical than it was in 1980.

My career job is to be a NFL football player, because I love playing football I been playing football since I was in peewee all the way up to high school and ever since then I been in love with the game .

The career path I’ve chosen was to become a football coach. My former football coaches inspire me to chase this career path. I think me becoming a football coach would match my personality because I would want people to do well in life and I would want students that I would coach to grow up to be the best person they can be. This career needs me to have experience with football and the knowledge of the sport of football. I think becoming a football coach would be the most satisfying career path for me because I love the game of football and what it's about.

There are many many careers to choose from in this world. Not all are for me though. There are three careers that I would consider doing. The most unlikely one is to play football professionally. Second is be a sports PT. Lastly I would like to be a banker.

NBA players get paid quite a bit of money, because of their deals they make with the coaches for the team they choose. Some of the NBA players go into the NBA with no security because they are free agents; being a free agent means, they go into the NBA as a free agent.NBA players can sign up for a draft, and depend on their luck; they can get drafted to a right or wrong team. Some would use Kevin Durant as a free agent, and he was playing for Oklahoma City Thunder last year. They found out that Kevin was a free agent, so he got put in the draft and the team that got him was Golden State Warriors. Now Kevin is playing with one of the best teams in the NBA.

I have learned how to play baseball well. I have been playing baseball since I was 5 years old. When I first started I was the only one that knew what they were doing because I had seen baseball on TV before. When I first started I played first base for the first few years, but as I got older I started to play multiple positions until high school. I never really got coached well and actually learned anything until I was 10 years old. I still talk to that coach every once in a while. The first coach that gave me valuable advice was Dave Farace. He helped me become a better player by teaching me how to field certain balls and he also changed my stance, which helped me become a better hitter. I used want to be a professional dancer or a dance teacher. Then it would be like hair stylist, a doctor, lawyer, house designer, or fashion designer. I would personally love to be a fashion designer but it's a very difficult career to get somewhere. You have to be very god and get noticed by someone famous, if you get noticed by someone famous then you most likely made it but it's very difficult to get there. Another career i am interested in is a lawyer. But in order to be a lawyer you have to be ready to speak in front of a lot of people and be comfortable and confident with it. I get stage fright so i'm not sure being a lawyer is right for me. But on the other hand i argue very well. I believe you should do a career that you love and enjoy because if you don't and you don't enjoy your career your just gonna be miserable.
