A Career In Information Technology

Coding has quickly become a very important part of modern society. In fact, coding is used in every single computer. Each computer talks in a form of language called the Binary Language. This language is spoken is a system and pattern of ones and zeros. Through time, coding has evolved into more complex languages. In Computers in Engineering at CBHS, the students learn a coding language called Python. Python is exclusively used today and in many coding jobs. Computers in Engineering is a dual enrollment class offered from Christian Brothers University. Every day in Computers in Engineering, the students will learn the coding language, Python.

I have chosen to pursue a career in computer science, because it has been a heavy influence on me throughout my life. All my life I have been surrounded by technology, almost more than half of my family has a career in the IT field, which is what sparked my interest. My earliest memory of when I first became interested was when I was about 6 and my mother bought me a phonics dog, and I was more interested in how it worked rather than what it did. I then saw the screw bolts and knew if I used a screwdriver I could see the inside of the toy so I opened it, and from then on I knew I was interested in technology. There have many opportunities for me easy to get a job after graduating college. Moreover, I like to work on the computer to operate the whole system for a company. I also want to lead my team to bring more efficiently and create new computer hardware or software to promote my company development. My interesting career is a Computer Information Systems Manager that require at least bachelor’s degree and have experiment of working in Information Technology (IT) at least five years. Computer Information Systems Manager also allows people to organize system, communicate every day, develop and maintain products, and manage computer security. This is a popular occupation for people have passion in computer recently. Computer Information System Manager can work in a good environment, but they need to face conflict with many situations and high social interaction. I would like to attend Heartland Technical Academy because I feel as if it would be a great opportunity to get a head start on college.
