This was an extraordinary movie that showed the homely small-town moral values through glossy studio production. I really enjoyed this movie. In Romeo and Juliet and Street love there are conflicts that challenge the two lovers love for each other from the ever growing feuded families in Verona to Damien's family against his love for Junice who they think is a bad influence based on what she has been through. Throughout both texts the male characters have very similar reactions when they both lay eyes on their lovers for the first time.      There are many similarities and differences between the sixties version of Romeo and Juliet and the modern version of Romeo and Juliet. It is very easy to spot these differences considering the time period each movie was set in. There are some things in the play that totally got cut from both movies. There are also some things that they added to the movies that weren’t in the play. Let us get on to the similarities and differences.

In It’s a Wonderful Life, the main character, George Bailey, is a good, giving man who faces a rough patch in his life. I think that this story teaches us a great lesson on being thankful. I liked the part when, at the end, Clarence finishes his job and earns his wings. The part I didn’t like was when George said that he wishes that he was never born. The lesson that It’s a Wonderful Life teaches us about thankfulness is that you need to appreciate how blessed you really are and not to take it for granted. To apply this message to our daily lives, you can focus more on the little things and not so much on the big things. George decides to end his life because he believes he is worth more dead than alive. When Clarence, his guardian angel, sees this, he decides to show George what life would be like if he had never existed.

Guido turns the experience of the concentration camp into a game in order to hide the harsh reality of the war and many killings from his young son, Giosue .
