By year-end 2015, PKF-HR projects that the demand for lodging accommodations will have increased 25.8 percent since the depths of the recession in 2009, while the supply of hotel rooms will have grown by just 5.6 percent, according to PFK-HR analysis (2014). So far, hotel industry is far exceeds accommodations, it also relates to travel, tourism, food and beverage, and entertainments. Within this report, the purpose is to analysis the current situation and future trends of hotel industry, taking Hyatt Hotel Corporation as example, to examine the current issues and provide some recommendations according to the recent situations.
