Comprehensive Report on Global Staffing Strategies Dubai, in the past decade, has been one of the fastest growing economies in the world. Companies flocked to the free zone because they could do business with wealthy visitors who came to the shopping mecca for its one stop shopping atmosphere. Despite a large bump in the road caused by the global economic crisis which damaged Dubai's growth seriously in 2009 and 2010, the city is recovering and has been welcoming new investors again. One of these investors is Wolff Urban Development, LLC, which is a major player in the global real estate development business. The problem with expanding internationally to a site such as Dubai is that there are laws which govern employment and employee rights which may hinder the enterprise. When human resources has not adequately prepared for the change, there can be many challenges which arise to slow or even nullify the move. So that this does not happen, the human resources department has to look at all issues that could be future problems and try to mitigate them. This means that local law regarding employees must be written into new company policies, and staffing regulations must be adhered to. These may not cause a great deal of concern in most cases, but sometimes they can lead to disastrous outcomes if not attended properly.
