Lucky I will never forget the day I moved in to my own house. I guess you could say it was a really lucky day for my little family. It was that day when the world seemed to be a little less gloomy, and I felt a little less helpless. For once, things were looking up for us, us being my boyfriend Andrayus, my dog Chewy, and myself. It all started when I was simply driving from school a whole twenty minutes out of town where we were staying at his grandmother’s. His grandmother had a small trailer house with two rooms and an addition room that was not finished yet so there was no heat or electricity in that room. The house had cockroaches and the kids had lice, some things I was lucky enough to never have to deal with in my childhood. That room with no heat or electricity is where we were sleeping, and we knew we needed to find our own place before winter hit. I felt really bad having Chewy there too because his grandma did not allow dogs in the house so when it was starting to get cold or if it was raining I would sneak Chewy in the back door. We were doing anything we could to find a place before winter, I was on craigslist every day and was also filling out applications but we could not seem to find anything on the cheaper and smaller side. One day when I left school and started on my way home, I drove past a sign with a number on it and the words “house for rent”. The first thoughts going through my mind was, it probably has too many bedrooms and is therefore too
The most memorable day that I could recollect would be a visit to six flags in Maryland. My trip to six flags was special, due to the fact that I had a chance to spend time with my family. The colossal amusement park where both family and friends can retreat was exciting to me.. It was more nostalgic for me when I visited the amusement park because I was a minor at that time. The cause for me and my family going to six flags was for my birthday. My birthday was November 27th that same weekend we vacationed to the amusement park. I was overly excited to be there, it was my first experience going to six flags.
My house is crowded with my relatives and friends; my friends and family are here me to wish me good luck and safe journey. My heart is full of mixed emotions. I am scared and sad but excited and happy at the same time as it is my last day at my house and in my country. Tonight is my flight to America. I’m moving to America, to be with my husband and to start a new journey of my life. I remember everything from my last day in Pakistan. I have never been way from my house before. I have always been surrounded by my friends and cousins. My friends have always been with me in my good and bad times and I cannot imagine a day without them. I never thought of leaving them. I didn’t realize how my life would change because of a ‘yes’. My childhood friend Sadiq, who moved to America ten years ago, asked me to marry him. Everyone in my family liked him so without thinking of anything else I said yes to him and we got married in a year, when he visited Pakistan. We were really excited to spend our lives together. What I didn’t realize until the moment I was at the airport that I am going to a new country, where I don’t know anyone other than my husband. I’m leaving all my family and friends here in Pakistan. I didn’t know how to react anymore now, I was sad and crying as I entered airport but I also felt happy inside my heart. When I was at the airport with my family, my grandma kept saying to me, “you have to call us at least three times a day when you get there.” My mom said, “Take
Everyone has a favorite memory about their lives. My favorite memory took place when I traveled to Ohio in 2014 for Thanksgiving.
That morning I was so happy and filled with excitement. I came into school and everyone was happy to see me. Even people I barely knew were happy to greet me with a sincere birthday congratulations. It was awesome because I had so many new friends and all of us were joyful on that day.
A memorable day for me is when I went to six flags. I got to ride the Texas Giant; I got to eat Funnel Cakes, Chicken on a stick, and Nachos. I had a good time with my family.
The most memorable event in my life was when we moved out from Russia to a country that changes lives and is known as a dream land called the United States of America. When we sat on the airplane that was going toward the United States in August of 2004, we knew our lives are going to be changed in the way we always wanted them to. After twelve years of not going to school and being discriminated by Russian citizens, this moving to a new country was the most amazing, not just in my life generally, but for my entire family as well.
The time that we moved to Westcliffe, Colorado. I always remember the times when my parents talked about coming out to Colorado. They said it was a place where they always felt good, especially my mom. Most of the time when we were back there, I remember that my mom was sick in bed, because of the heat and humidity. It made her really sick, but when she came out here, she always felt much better. That was one of the main reasons, why we moved here, because my dad knew that mom would feel better here in higher elevation. So when the day came, I was glad we moved somewhere else.
when it was my little brothers birthday party, but it was also the day of my
I never apprehended how fortunate I was until my life changed on December twelfth two thousand thirteen. I was only a freshman still trying to adjust to new people and a new school. I would have never thought I had to become a responsible adult much earlier in life. It all began with one phone call from my mother saying she just been struck by a car.
There are three events that made me who made me happy with, my weird life, which are when I hit my first softball. When I did my first Sounds Choir play, you feel like the people who came to see the play came just to see you and only you. The day I became a big sister was the best day of my life. Doing activities with family is amazing and you feel like you can do thing. Playing softball, doing a play, and being a big sister makes half of my life.
My most memorable day was being accepted into Laredo Job Corps. I never thought the day would come. Then one morning the phone rang. I did not recognize the number, but decided to answer the call any way. Well, the day came. Wow! I was in.
It was the end of the school year, and I was super excited to go home, jump on the couch and have the snuggly feeling I had last summer. When my dad came home he called me up to his room,
It was my birthday. Two things that I never thought would happen. One was me getting a chocolate lab I named Hazel, the second was losing a loved one. These two thing happened on one day that I will love and hate for the rest of my life.
Throughout my life, there were many days that were significant; however there is only one day that stands from the rest. The most important day of my life is the day I graduated high school. Graduating high school was an emotional day because I felt prepared to exit one stage of my life and optimistic for the next step in my life.
Throughout life I have had many memorable events. The memorable times in my life vary from being the worst times in my life and some being the best, either way they have become milestones that will be remembered forever. The best day of my life was definitely the day that I received my drivers' license. This day is one of the most memorable because of the feelings I had when I received it, the opportunities that were opened up for me and the long lasting benefits that I received from it that still exist today.
