In this scenario, owner of an Italian restaurant wants to introduce a new pasta dish. James, a business research executive hired by the restaurant owner Pablo has to conduct a research with the customers to find out reaction about the dish. James has proposed a face to face interview technique to Pablo for this research work.

* Audience selection – in the face to face interview selection of audience type is very important. In face to face you select only interested audience that can provide useful information. So, it’s like selecting only sample of people and interviewing them.
* Questionaries’ selection – In a face to face interview we uses only selected type of questions , those are directly related to the subject. This type of selection makes the process more productive. * Presence of audience – As mentioned above, presence of audience makes face to face interview more effective. Interviewer gets more accurate information and understands whether the interviewee is interested or not.
So, all these key attributes of a Face to Face interview provides this methodology a good design and makes it a very popular methodology in the whole world and thus used by every big and small organisation.

INTERVIEWS: Interviews are usually taken for people when they are looking for jobs or looking places in college and universities. There are many advantages of interviews, one being that they will be able to get good information and some data, also they will develop their communication skills too when talking to the other individual. However there are also many weaknesses such as, time consuming, the person being interviewed could be lying and also the questions may not be clear. One method of research is using interviews. For example, when using interviews in a care home, when conducting research, many ethical issues can be raised. Interviews not only take place face-to-face, but also can happen on the phone, online, through text messaging, using a video messenger and though social media. Interviews are a very useful way of collecting information because a wide range of detailed information can be collected at a large quantity. There are two types of interviews: structured or unstructured.
Face-to-face interviews will be interview guide approach where there will be an outline of topics and issues that the interviewer will cover with the participant (Babbie &Rubin, 1993). Having an outline it allows the researcher to compare responses between participants and it reduces the interviewer biases (Babbie & Rubin, 1993). An outline is constructed where it will guide the researcher with the participant from one concern to another but in a conversational approach (Babbie & Rubin, 1993). Moreover, a study without any set structure the researcher and participant can get side tracked and not answer the questions needed for the study research. The length of the interview will be approximately thirty minutes, but there will be no time restriction. The information will be recorded similar to a focus group, with a recording device and notes occasionally. Before analyzing the data, the researcher will examine his or her “own thoughts and feelings” because it’s a crucial process in understanding the participants (Babbie & Rubin, 1993, p.
Interview: the advantage of face to face interviews is that the researcher can adapt the questions as necessary, clarify doubt and ensure that the responses are properly understood, by repeating or rephrasing the questions. The researcher can also pick up non-verbal clues from the respondent through the body language.

Throughout the videos, there were many times in which the interviewer was successful and conducted a decent interview. The interview room was assembled appropriately, except for the table, which could have acted as a barrier between them. The proxemics amongst them was at a respectable distance for an interviewer and a victim. His pitch and tone of voice remained calm and relaxing throughout the interview.
