Today was my first lesson in humility. Some of the elder Monks had reprimanded me for my selfish thoughts and words. This was my first transgression and thus I was taught my lesson behind closed doors.
Zeke and I has been together for a year and a half. Zeke and I met August 28, 1993 I was working at the mall at the time, in a man's clothing store; and he come in with his cousin Junior. I ask them if they needed help and Junior say yes, because his the one that was buying some clothes, so instead of me helping him I started talking to Zeke and didn't help Junior at all.

“Over here!” Lori called to her friend, Kayla as she was trudging below the blazing hot Arizona sun. After looking up and seeing Lori, Kayla shouted “Coming!” while jogging happily to greet her best friend. Both girls were looking forward to this get together because they were planning on hiking a new trail through the beautiful desert mountains. “I am so excited!” Kayla exclaimed once Lori caught up to Kayla. Carrying small filled bags with a couple granola bars, water, a hat, a couple of bandages and some sunscreen, you could see the anticipation in their eyes for this fun adventure! Although they didn’t do much research on this trail, they were thrilled for the trip ahead.
Marlee watched as the first visitor approached the door from the upstairs window. He was sitting upstairs cooking shrimp in a pot of oil. He was kind of confused to see a crazed person approach the abandon house at 9 p.m. This visitor looked old and weary. It was an old lady who was carrying a purse, while she was walking up to the house she took out a key like she lived there. Marlee was so scared he thought he was in the wrong house. He quickly called Max and told him to get over to the house right away! The old lady walked inside and started to walk up the stairs. She soon opens the creaky door who reveals frightened Marlee sitting in a boxy chair in the corner. Thats when she started screaming at the top of her lungs, her head was turning red like a cherry, it looked like her head was going to explode. Marlee took off running.
Star War hate it or love it, it has captured the minds and imaginations of millions of people. I remember watching Episode IV A New Hope when I was a little kid and was memorized by it. Loving everything about the movie from space travel to the mystery of the force. But now I lost all hope in Star Wars after the last two newest movies which are The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi. In A New Hope you can actually see the journey of the hero, which follows Luke’s Journey from being a teenager to a man by the actions he took throughout the movie. In the new movie the force awakens Rey is supposed to be the hero and has to experience events in her life like Luke that will change her to be a hero that she was born to be. Yet after watching the newest movies I feel like there wasn’t much of the hero’s journey, and that they gave her powers that seem unrealistic for her level of training. Even Anakin Skywalker “the chosen one” had to train for years and he was barely able to fight legendary fighters like Count Dooku or Obi-Wan Kenobi.
Shortly after the discovery that my beloved wife had gone missing, I began to retrace my steps in search of her. I believe I must have lost her in the process of cycling up the hill; however, I cannot seem to make out which path I had come from.
It was a clear tranquil London evening, warmer than you would expect in mid fall. At this late hour these streets were completely vacant, with only the street lamps and occasional shop window illuminating the road. The only sound was the pounding of sneakers frantically hitting the pavement. With every step the noise grew louder, bringing the woman closer to the street and,she prayed, safety.
One of the most influential book of all time could be Joseph Campbell’s The Hero with a Thousand faces. In his book Campbell uncovers the pattern that I the foundation of every story ever told or yet to be discovered ‘The Hero’s Journey’. Campbell analysed the myths and legends from around the world and from different time periods and found that all the stories are a variation of one another told time and again throughout the history. Campbell gathered the main ideas from these stories, recognized them and came up with a pattern that binds all the stories, every story ever told The Hero’s Journey. Stories based on this pattern of Hero’s Journey articulates with the unconscious part
“Then you must take up your well-shaped oar and go on a journey until you come where there are men living who know nothing of the sea,” said Teiresias, a famous blind prophet.
women on the couch. “The aging process is apparent to us in the first days of life. Those of us that are cursed age slower and stop at 30.”
Somehow, Faelan managed to find her way to the garden. She did admit, rather reluctantly, that she had exited the castle as soon as she could and then followed the pebbled road towards greenery in the distance. She arrived first and took the opportunity to look around at the maze of green. There were emerald hedges that raced around in linear lines and flourishing flowers ordered and sectioned off between gaps in the hedges, as well, as impressive marble benches stationed at intervals along the path. Although it was much larger than the quaint garden in Highever, Faelan couldn’t help but be reminded of home. She fingered a still budding rose and thought briefly of her brother, Fergus.
Feeling exhausted and depleted throughout the hellish pregnancy, she hadn’t selected a name for the child she’d carried. Whereas, almost before she had found out she was expecting Jessica Jane; she’d picked out the name.
Red. The color had become sickening after all this time. Neko no longer remembered how long it had been since that accursed day, but he had grown too tired to care. Any grasp of time was lost on this desolate land. It must have been months, he thought, as his hair was long enough to touch his shoulders and food supplies were becoming scarce. He remembered vividly when everything had gone wrong and he couldn’t stop reliving the moment over and over again.
The ship made its way back to the dock days later. Longing to be with John, Bella begged and pleaded to her father. He finally allowed her to date him! Two years later, John and Bella got married and lived in a small village near the shop. The shop was passed down from his father to him to run. He still went out on Fridays to catch more fish, but now when he returned home to his beautiful wife. If it wasn’t for that fog he would have never hit the ship where he met Bella.
