Freedom is something that many people take for granted. Having freedom allows you to make your own decisions. Many people abuse their rights by making bad choices. It is important to appreciate the rights you have because not everyone around the world has freedom.
Having freedom is what makes the people who they are as humans, and what they are meant to be. Freedom is simple as saying small and easy things, "Freedom is the freedom to say that two plus two make four. If that is granted, all else follows" (Orwell 84). Before anything else, freedom is the most important thing they can all have, because without it,
Coretta Scott King said "Freedom is never really won, you earn it and win it in every generation." I agree with King for a few reasons. Many people might just not even remember their rights. Your rights may also even be stolen by someone. Freedom is always taken away,
Freedom lets us walk wherever we want. Freedom lets us wear whatever we want. Freedom lets us sleep peacefully. Freedom lets us eat any food not one certain food. Freedom gives us the power to speak out our thoughts out loud.
There is humanly no possible way to merely or easily define what “freedom” truthfully is, as every distinct person and each social order has opposing restrictions for what this belief is. Bureaucrats and social researchers, for example, have vastly diverse philosophies of what institutes freedom. This primeval belief has been ingrained into mankind since the beginning of time. Century after century mankind has fought in numerous wars for this concept of “Freedom”.
Freedom to me means that i can got to school each day to get a good education which is a good thing because i can oneday use my education to get a successful career so i can support myself when that time comes for me the only way that we get good education like this is because some veterans sacrificed themselves for the greater good of our country and that made it so we all can live how we want.
Freedom is the right to act, think, speak and write without fear of punishment or coercion. I feel that living in a civilized society ensures freedom because a civilized society has laws to keep everyone 's rights safe, our government is a democracy since we were once under a
Civil Rights Leader and Lawyer: Constance Baker Motley (1921-2005) Her Drive, Struggles and Achievements What is freedom? Freedom is the state of being free without any confinement mentally or physically. It is the liberty from any external control or any restriction from the simple things in life. Africans were free before the Europeans started sailing across the ocean. The Native Americans were the original slaves in the United States but they were dying rapidly. The Europeans settled in the United States and started to rape the Native Americans women, killed the weak children and forced the men to work endlessly on the fields (Carson 1991, p.6). The Native Americans suffered tremendously before the Africans but they also had the
“Only in America can someone start with nothing and achieve the American Dream. That’s the greatness of our country.” -Rafael Cruz America, the best country in the world. This country has a whole bunch of gifts that it has given our generation. The most important ones to
Thomas Wolfe once said, “America… It is a fabulous country, the only fabulous country; it is the only place where miracles not only happen, but they happen all the time.” America really is great, and I believe this with all my heart. Miracles really do
Asa Philip Randolph once said, “Freedom is never given; it is won.” People always argue about how freedom is never given, but has to be demanded. Freedom has never been given on a silver platter, but rather a goal and proud achievement we had to struggle for. If freedom is
Freedom means living life as one wants, everything else is a form of slavery. If a person is not allowed to make his or hers decisions, if he or she is not free to live life as he/she wants than he/she doesn’t have power over his or her existence. If freedom was not essential for every human being than no one would have found so fiercely for it. If it was not important than today we would not be still fighting to keep and extend our freedom.
To me freedom is like a gift. Not everybody wants it but a lot do. The people who want it really bad, so bad that they will fight for it. It the same way with a gift, not everybody wants it but some people do and they
Freedom is defined as the power or right to act, speak, or think as one wishes without hindrance or fear of being reprimanded. Since the age of the thirteen colonies, freedom has been the goal for all American citizens. We strive to make freedom a right, not just in our own country, but in other countries that seek assistance from the rest of the world. Ask anyone, and they will know someone who has bravely served in our nation’s military to protect that right.
If I were to define freedom I would call it the ability to do what you want when you want, and have no outside forces preventing you from doing so. But that is a just a very broad definition and there are some exceptions. The first point that is brought up against freedom are laws. If my definition for freedom were to be taken verbatim then the fact that we have
