Leadership is a term on which no one can reach a consensus as it carries a different meaning and weightage for each individual. Some people may consider a person as their leader who is capable of taking them away from hardships or caring for them, or some people may consider a man steeped in wisdom and learning to be a leader. Difference notwithstanding, there still seems to be some commonality in all the perspectives behind the definition, which is related to choosing a best of the best person as their leader. The simple bottom line is that, nobody wants to have a person as his leader who doesn’t have knowledge of the needs and aspirations of his people or who is not blessed with a certain temperament foe bearing hardships for his people, nor a vision for where they should be or how they should grow and influence the world around them. As the founder of tech startup, it is only natural for me to pick a leader who is a true technological visionary. It was not enough to simply pick someone who created innovative products, or created and ran a billion-dollar company. For me it would have to be someone with the vision to shape the future and world around him, a person who could see how his works would directly impact the trajectory of the world and its impact on the human race at large.
