My story is about my friend and I who one day came up with an idea to entertain ourselves. To be frank, it wasn't the safest idea. Nor the smartest. But we were at an age where life was at our peril. We hardly ever had any homework and our parents thought we were too innocent to punish us if we came home from school late. So we considered this to be the perfect time for some refreshing fun. I learned a lot from a participation which I initially thought was simply about having a good time. In one sense I did have a good time but it was over roared by a pretty hefty consequence. My overriding regret is substantial and can never be amended. I was relieved slightly with lessons which a real life undertaking like this only could of taught me. …show more content…
We looked at each other. Our faces told their own story. We had both been given huge lift by this. I'd never experienced such an instantaneous feeling of pure energy in my life. The endorphin's were sky high. I'm sure he felt the same way cause if he didn't there was something wrong with him. That's how good it was. We had to do another one by the end of the day. We did and it was equally spectacular. Instead this time of desperately 'boltin it' we were more confident and composed is was more like a fast jog with time left over to swagger out the driveway to the sound of a hot-tempered old woman shouting''get out or I'Il phone the police". My friend and I were both enjoying this as we had never experienced this action packed side of life before. It was like we were emulating the great actors from all the best action movies. Taking on the same inconcievable tasks and against all the odds, some how finding a escape unscathed or undetected. But aside of all the glossy acts of heroism or bravery that these stories provide, a simpler and more down to earth story stood out and illuminated my senses to the wrong I was undertaking. ''The bad, nasty people who steal, hurt, vandalise or TRESSPASS always get in big trouble in the end.'' I learned that when I was five and understood it then. I had ignored the rule and I feared the worst The next week or so
The air is tainted with the fumes of cherry blossom, hairspray and “Scarlet” red nail polish. Pink and white paint add texture to the walls. Week old clothes begin to hide underneath the solitary wooden mahogany chair as new, fresh clothes take their place as head of the drawer. Pieces of pencil shavings cover the once pastel pink carpet while the white fan creaks once it hits a 180-degree angle. A battle between bright yellow and soft white light occurs when someone decides to take settle on the full- size bed.
When I was in 5th grade at the age of 10 I was fortunate enough to go on a vacation out of the country. This was a pivotal moment in my life because my family had never really had enough money to go on a trip with all of us, but we did this time because my dad saved up; we were going to the Philippines. Even though it was just supposed to be a vacation, it ended up being something completely different. During our time there, we stayed with my uncle who lived in an underprivileged neighborhood.Spending time with my relatives in that place made me realize that I took things for granted. My thoughts recollected at the church, where I really saw a different view of my dad. He was teaching in a huge, crowded church and what he said and did seemed
The most memorable day of life was when my cousin, Dwayne, and I decided we were going to see a movie. The new Fast and Furious movie had just come out, and we thought it would be nice to take our girlfriends. Before we went to the movies, we took a drive which we call “the eastern ride.” It’s a very pleasant ride with nice wind beautiful night skies. We put on some romantic music and when we got to this spot called “Point Udall,” there were some guys over there at the time that we didn’t know, but we really didn’t pay them no mind. That is just how my cousin and I were at the time. We never paid attention because we never caused trouble at all. But when It came to us, we were ready for it. So when one of the guys started talking nonsense to my cousin, I was standing there and just smiling in my head. I was like who is this guy really talking to? I told my cousin, “don’t bother with that.” That is not the match we usually look for and we left.
One day that changed my life was the day I went into foster care.I will never forget that day. I remember going to school that day.I was sitting in class and the S.R.O came and got me from class. I felt like something bad was going to happen. I was right, they took me into foster care. They took me from school and then when we were leaving the school they asked me if I knew where my mom and brother were,I didn’t know.

There are many events that stand out in my life that were significant and helped me grow stronger. One of these events stands out in particular to me and had the greatest impact in my life. When I attended high school my focus was never on the academics but only on sports and having fun with my friends. I never payed attention for more than five seconds and failed to complete any type of work given to me. My lack of care for high school affected me on going to a four year college, playing a sport in college, and taking remedial classes.
It rain cats and dogs two out of the four days we were there. The beach had double red flags half of one day, so we decided to go down to Destin to probably the most horrible water park I have ever been. As I laid in the floating tube, I contemplated all my life choices, and what I did to merit such an unpleasant trip. I could not come up with anything. We left the park shortly after that feeling downhearted. We piled into the car; then the radio announced something that could turn the trip around. This massive club in Panama had girls get in free before eleven and men can get in at reduced prices, and a Florida-based rapper was going to perform. I was ecstatic and googled reviews of the club and read it to everyone. My friends did not seem as excited as I was, and no one wanted to go. I anticipated my friends would not mind doing something that interested me, but I was mistaken. All I could think about was all the stuff I did that weekend that I did not want just to make everyone content. I could not believe people I consider friends would just blow off my idea. That was my last
My life began when I was born unto two people who loved me but could not keep me. About three months after my birth, I was found by a policeman in the middle of a large park in Nanchang, Jiangxi and brought to a local orphanage that is still supporting orphans to this day. As sad as the beginning of my life sounds, I was one of the lucky ones. Many unwanted children are discarded in ways that ensure their deaths, bumped around to different temporary homes, or brought up through orphanages until adulthood when they are sent to live on the streets. I was placed in two different foster home, both sets of foster parents loved me and looked out for my health. 16 months later I was adopted by wonderful American family and brought to live in Eugene,
Life seems to take many twists and turns that somehow mesh into each other to form a chaotic knot of happenings. All of these occurrences are supposed to shape you into a wiser more experienced person. Many people can even pin point the exact moment in their life which was forever changed by a single event. When that event happens it becomes an unforgettable memory for you and teaches you a lesson that becomes one of the basic guidelines in your life. The event that forever changed me and was most significant to me was when I decided what I planned on doing for the rest of my life; choosing my major. I knew exactly what I would plan on doing my
There are many pivotal points in a person's life which mark important milestones. The marking of one of these milestones for me all started when I was four years of age. My dream was to become tall enough to reach the twizzlers that were kept from me atop the fridge. This is an important memory I have from when I was young because it taught me how important it is to have dreams.
One beautiful day i was feeding my horses and chickens, suddenly i spot something moving in the woods, i hear mom call for breakfast but i wanted to see what was moving out in the woods. I called back to mom “be right there”, and i headed toward it, i was near it, a moment later it was gone. I walked 1 step in the woods to make sure ,and i heard mom call “come on”
I remember it like it was yesterday, the day that changed my life forever. On March 9th of 2011, my mom was diagnosed with skin cancer in her lung. The doctor gave her about six months to live and this is how it went.
Once we got in the theme park the fun had begun. There were so many rides big and small. Some of them i did'nt get to ride because i was too short and they didnt believe my age. So i was mad and ready to home because i thought it was unfair. So i decide to stay by the pool with my granny and Aunt Jackie. Which was fine with me because they gave me money to play games and to get food. I remember almost collecting fifthy dollars from them and that was alot of money to me. I listen to all the grown up gossip. They were funny until they realized i was laughing with them. So they made me go play. I finally seen my brother swimming so that was my plan in revenge i jump on him while he was under water and didnt let him until i felt like he had enough. After while it turned into a game of marco polo.
Throughout life I have had many memorable events. The memorable times in my life vary from being the worst times in my life and some being the best, either way they have become milestones that will be remembered forever. The best day of my life was definitely the day that I received my drivers' license. This day is one of the most memorable because of the feelings I had when I received it, the opportunities that were opened up for me and the long lasting benefits that I received from it that still exist today.
