September 11th 2001 there was a surprise attack on the United States by terrorists. The terrorists allegedly hijacked four airplanes. One was meant for the White House, one was meant for the Pentagon and the other two were meant for the twin tower which fell and many lives were lost. However some say it was not terrorists and that it was the United States government and that the government set a bomb and that they had several motives to do this.
September 11, 2001 was not just any ordinary day for the citizens of the United States and the city of New York, but a devastating attack that has put us all in shock and fear. As all of you know, the Tuesday that this country was ambushed and attacked destructively by terrorists, was one of the saddest days America has ever seen. Not only did it affect the people that were in the World Trade Center Towers and the loved ones who unfortunately passed away, but it affected our country as a whole. Scared, devastated, astonished, and surprised are just a few words that begin to describe September 11th. As separate states and people, I can confidently say that America has never been closer together as one than on that
The morning of 9/11 I wasn’t going to go to work because I had an allergy appointment,
George W. Bush once said that “Our enemies have made the mistake that America’s enemies always make. They see liberty and think they saw weakness.” 9/11 was a devastating day in American history. Men, from the terrorist group Al Quada, attacked America on their own soil for the first time since Japan attack us at Pearl Harbor. But there are some things we can isolate from it. The basic overview of it. What were the terrorists doing to get ready for the day, and what was their major purpose and intention.
September 11, 2001, the start of terrorism in The United States, and the end of innocence in our lives. Some of us are lucky to never know the fright of that horrid day. For others though, the events that transpired on September 11 will live on forever in their memory.
It was a sunny day here in New Jersey, I was getting ready to go see the Twin towers memorial the next day."Julie! Come down here please we need to talk!"said my mother.
3,000 people lost their lives because of terrorist on September 9, 2001. That day many people died, got injured, people were in shock, and that day everyone was petrified. When the attacks begun, everyone felt terror. But the people who had survived, fought through the terror, and began to have hope. The people who were sad about the 9/11 had hope and courage after that day when the attacks begun. You had to have hope to make it through that kind of situation. “Terror to Hope” is a fantastic title that describes the transition from terror to hope after the Terrorist attack on September 9, 2001.
September 11, 2001. Today was like any other day get dressed eat breakfast go to work, when i was my work someone said look there’s a plane. I looked and it hit the north tower everyone screamed. When that happened i was on the 112 floor and at 9:02 when our tower was hit and that changed my life forever.
I remember the rain, it was calm as it splashed against my kitchen window, while I waited for dinner to be served. It was a normal evening, my family and I gathered around the table ready to celebrate my grandparent's anniversary. My Dad had made a feast to feed all of Africa, over Labor day weekend to congratulate his parents on fifty years of marriage.
This story is going to be based off of AHS. It will include some similarities to the show.
“It’s good bonding time with Tamaki. You know, that thing I was sent here by my grandmother to do? You act like I chose this. What do you want me to do?” I fumed. I certainly hadn’t wanted to start my morning arguing over the phone with Eric, and I was not feeling refreshed by the experience.
It is now lunch, I have called my mother and she is okay. For lunch I ate a 6” sub from Subway. So far all I have gotten was flirty looks from girls, and obscene gestures from their boyfriends. I honestly don’t know if this day can get any more boring.
Suena was walking home and she felt like she was being followed, but she thought it was because of the horror movie she watched the night before. It was about a twenty minute walk for Surena to get home and she often enjoyed but that day she didn’t enjoy it. When she got home there was a note on her fridge from her mother saying she’ll be back in a couple of hours and that there was leftovers in the fridge. She still had that icky feeling that someone was watching her, she kept saying in her head that it was just the horror movie scaring her. Her dog Belle was eating the couch again, when her mom got home she’d be mad. Surena went up stairs to her bedroom and forgot to lock the door that day, when her mother warned her many times before to
I ran up to my room and grab a piece of paper and pen and drew what I thought would be fun to use. From my room I heard Maddie screaming, "Water Park Party Princesses." Then I heard a big crash which sounded like glass.
