K-state game
It was hot at the game because there is a ton of people there. It was an interesting game it had us on are toes.It was a neck to neck game and it was just so hard to keep up with the game. You left to go somewhere for one second and when you get back it will be a completely difrent game. They flood the court and it was most of the student did.Sucreity had to break up the crowed and the had to move people back so the coach and the players could get out.
I was like a tornado was happening everyone was every where and it was hard getting out out of it and so we were stuck there for a while and it was a wild house and you had to watch out for people and that day there was the most people there ever.So it was a intese game and when
The second championship game began much like the first. By the seventh inning the score was seven to one in favor of Waterloo Valley. Being the home team, we had one more chance for survival in the bottom of the inning. The inning started with one hit after another, raising the team’s spirits with each one. The hits just kept coming until we finally found ourselves only down by only one run. The excitement in the dugout was soaring, and so, with a runner on third base and two outs, Coach Sullivan put in Jakob Crampton for what could be the final at bat of the season. After strike one the anxiety became overwhelming. With the second pitch on its way, Crampton swang the bat, and the dugout exploded into cheering as the ball found its way between the third baseman
I had attended the basketball game and it was okay. The UWA Women basketball players reigned victory in the game. The game was almost a tie because both teams were trying their best to score points. The Mississippi College is a fierce team, and their determination and confidence motivated them to come closer to victory. Our team also shared the same attributes as well as the opposing team. This was the first sporting event that I have attended since I been here. I know that I should be a little more outgoing, but I am stuck in timid mode. The game would be a little more interesting if I had friends to see it with. I still found this event as a great experience for me. I am interested in various types
How many of you watch sports? The SEC(Southeastern Conference) and the rivalries between different college teams are fun to watch, the rivalry I am going to talk about today is the Auburn and ‘Bama rivalry. It may just be the biggest and longest rivalry in College Football. This rivalry is +100 years old. The rivalry is most likely the craziest rivalry in college sports. From the way, they earned their slogans to what the fans have done to each other.
It was considered the biggest tournament in the whole country and everyone was trying to get in to prove their skills. This tournament was much different then the one today because you weren’t able to watch these games on television or check your phone for the scores. The only way you would know who moves on or what teams won was to actually go to the game. This is why it would get very crowded at Illinois arena.
Leaves were blowing off all of the trees and swirling around with each gust of wind. My dad turned on the news channel to see what was happening and there was a tornado watch. He told us that we should be safe and go into the basement. It had gotten extremely windy by then and we
It is America’s game. Tough, rough, explosive, exciting, and captivating. One can’t deny that this sport can truly be a thrill to watch. Big plays accompanied by big hits. Touchdowns paired with broken bones and concussions. Kids start when they are young aiming for the stars to be the next great NFL player. It is instilled in the culture from young age that football players are the biggest, baddest, and toughest athletes on the planet. They are the modern day warriors out to entertain the masses. Football players don’t get hurt, they play through the pain, at whatever cost and taking whatever medication they can to numb the pain.
There are numerous theories of play and countless theorists, from Freud and Spencer to Piaget and Vygotsky, who have studied play in relation to what it is and what it does for the child. This essay will outline the definition and value of play and the importance of how it can foster the child’s learning in regards to these theorists who studied the effects in great detail. It will discuss the how the environments constructed by educators can impact play and the theories of learning relating to the quote “play and learning are inextricably woven together ...” Ebbeck and Waniganayake, 2010, p. 5).

Every high school athlete dreams of winning a state championship. My softball coach always explained winning a state championship as a life-changing experience. As the only senior on the team my goal was to leave behind a legacy for the younger players to remember, and after this season I believe that I completed goal. I have been a member of this team for seven years. Before this season, my school team had never before won any games in the state tournament. On September 25, 2017, the Simpson Academy fastpitch softball team made history at our school by becoming the MAIS Division II AAAA State Champions.

How do we define odds to ourselves? Are they things that happen because they are suppose to or are they things that were written and statistics made them happen. Odds and statistics play major roles in almost every event in life. They affect everything from who we marry and how long it lasts right down to what shoes we wear. These odds and statistics are very noticeable to everyone especially in a game of Texas hold'em poker. The game has some skills involved but the odds still apply to the type of cards a player is dealt in order to use his skills. This poker game is new and is played by many but only mastered by a few. I happen to look at myself as some one who has mastered the game.
The event I attended was the Gopher Men's Basketball game against the Purdue Boilermakers on February 24 at Williams Arena ("The Barn"). The construction of Williams Arena was completed in 1928 and originally housed a variety of Gopher Athletics. In addition to housing the men's basketball team, as it still does today, winter football training, tennis, and track all called the facility home at one point1al University of Minnesota History of Williams Arenahttp://www.gophersports.com/ViewArticle.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=8400&ATCLID=310102 . The main tenants of the building have changed over the years as the various teams that called Williams Arena home were built one of their own. However,
The world of sports has grown larger than life over the past century, especially in college. Being a collegiate athlete is, without question, the hardest athletic profession in the world. Not only are students devoted to their sport, which requires an obscene amount of time of preparation, but they are also devoted to their school work. And the award they receive for their hard work? Of course there are the great memories, friendships made, “free education”, or national championships, but are theses students receiving their fair share? Should college athletes be paid? It is a question that has been asked, but never truly answered. College athletes should be paid for their work. I even have the perfect system to see
A major role in my life would definitely be sports. It is almost as if I look up to sports because I could not live without them. Sports pretty much define me as me. I love to play sports as well as watch all kinds of sports on T.V. and if I could ever go to a game and watch the players play live I would be thrilled. Basically sports define me because I am ambitious, I finish what I start, I set goals for myself, and I am a fierce competitor in which I love to win and I hate to lose. The greatest part about sports to me is living for the moment when the game is on the line and the pressure is on can you come through and make a play for your
I felt like I could do anything. The moment was extremely surreal. I hadn’t accomplished anything so arduous in my life. The crowd’s cheers were thundering through my body. I had so much adrenaline coursing through my veins that I wasn’t even weary. People were jumping up and down, screaming in victory, and clapping so loud I couldn’t hear myself think. I couldn’t believe that I had just won the State Championship volleyball game.
